    Morning all,

I'm up and need to get a move on today. House needs cleaning. Nothing like visitors arriving Sunday evening and OH wanting to go away for weekend to get my hind quarters into gear.

Place is reasonable tidy, washing is not up to date but under control. So had better get a move on.

    WM on

Heading off in search of the hoover and a duster.
  • Morning all,

Quick one from me, feeling a bit better, work again today. DH at home again so he has a list. WM on now, DW to go on soon. Have fab days all x

    Morning all

Didn’t get back on for an update last night, just did dailies, ate supper and reset kitchen, too tired for anything else.

Just about to start paid stuff this morning. WM is on, not sure about forecast but may try to get it out on the line for an hour or so. Flying will commence once I’ve had chance to look at my work list. I know I have a late meeting today so I may be able to take some time out for flying in the middle of the day.

Have a good day all. Hugs to those in need x

Not a good start, found hoover but it felt very heavy, oops bags bulging (I have recently just been using the small rechargeable stick one fo the floors), so go in search of new bag to discover that I have 2 packets for one we no longer have but none for this one. So added to list and kitchen worksurfaces cleaned instead. But it's still progress.

Another quick coffee and then back to it.

Did spice shelves as food cupboards are organised

That'll do for today, as it's washing and ironing day too today for me.
I've tidied the bathrooms, and washed the dogs bed too AND done the kitchen skirtings which were, frankly, rancid.
:rotfl:If you have made someone laugh today... check your skirt isn't tucked into your knickers!!!:rotfl:
    Mrs B you're a legend.
  • Me again,

2 hours and 3 shops later I now have hoover bags (they'd better fit), to be fair I did also get diner for tonight, a few essentials and called into to order another pellet stove for the playroom and to arrange service for the one in the living room. Have also found quote to redecorate said room so will sign that too.

So that means I have 6 weeks to get the room cleared and sorted. Now that the girls have grown up 24 & 21 we have decided to turn it into a dining room and more importantly the stove should mean that our kitchen will now get nice and warm. Just need to decide on the colour for the walls; but probably white as there are a couple of oak beams and the floor is very old reddy/brown hexagonal quarry tiles which are staying. It is a very light room as one wall is sliding windows all the length , and sloping roof has 2 roof windows. Window frames and door frames wood (oak), doors themselves are 2/3rds glass with oak bottoms.

Enough ramblings from me, off to put bag in hoover and USE it.

    Hello everyone

A quick pop in from me.
Busy day at paid stuff, bed settee delivered and now taking up the living room until DH re-clears his treasures from where said bed settee should be. Wm x 2 run, grocery shop done but no petrol as garage shut for a week. Grrrr.
En-suite and downstairs loo cleaned. Dinner just cooking, HH paperwork done so hopefully nothing but to flop later after dinner.
27 years ago today that DH and I tied the knot. And he has still survived. Amazing.
