Well I've spent the last 3 days in bed, and not in the good way...

Been poorly, so although I haven't been doing any moneysaving, I've not had the chance to do any money wasting either! OH has been looking after me and making sure I don't die in my sleep or something-I'm such a hypochondriac about this stuff, but he humours me at times like this!

Had to put off going out for my birthday this weekend as I've been too ill, but I'm having another "birthday" next weekend to make up for it! As for new year, we're staying in for that too and just celebrating with the champagne I got for Christmas and the fact we have the house to ourselves for once! We probably wouldn't have gone out for new year anyway-all those crowds of drunken people and the violence that inevitably comes with it is a bit depressing for me. Much safer and more fun to stay and post here while OH plays xbox :rotfl:

I'm feeling positive about the new year, if I can be good and nothing goes wrong with the house sale I should be debt free by the summer, by my calculations.

Hi all, this is the first time this year I've felt up to writing anything in my diary, been feeling quite down about my money situation and the lack of it. OH has gone back from his Christmas break and I just haven't been bothering-I think I've fallen off the wagon somewhat.

I've managed to waste about £200 on stuff so far this week that wasn't really necessary, but I wanted so I could make myself feel better. But guess what? It hasn't worked (obviously). If I'd just come on here I probably could have avoided this as someone sensible would've brought me to my senses!

So from now I'm going to make another fresh start. Off to do a mystery shop now, should be ok and at least it will bring in some extra cash.
