Morning,
Despite my best efforts, I've ended up with the lurgy and feel pooh this morning, I was freezing when I went to bed last night and woke up feeling groggy and bunged upI don't have time to be ill
Heard from my agency bloke and he's going to give the other company a nudge and let me know. I applied direct to one construction company, they are based just outside Waterloo station which would be ideal for me. Still no word from my contact about his place
6 weeks until Project end, I have stuff to do but no enthusiasm.
Got soup and bread for lunch today.
Beef casserole and mash for dinner tonight.0 -

Sorry to hear that you are run down at the moment .
Hopefully it won't last very long . Not sure if you're the type to have a bell , and ring for the others to assist you
There are obviously many suggestions and remedies that do or don't work . At the first sign in my case , I'd get liquid night and day nurse and neat Jameson's ( not too much ) . I'd also eat whatever I wanted and whenever . Works most of the time .
Working near Waterloo , is a good location imho . When I used to work in London , I found the best places were Covent Garden ,the strand and Holborn . Soho used to be good not anymore .
Hope you get a break soon . Things come in 2's and 3's so if your other half is settled then you can't be far behind .
Hope you get better soon ..0 -

Thanks AC, I can't take night nurse as it makes me feel like I'm constantly in a lift
My train lands at Waterloo and I think their office is literally 10 min walk from thereOne company I was at did a project in Holborn, went there once to visit the DC on the job before we got kicked off it....long story lol xx

Heard from agency bloke and that company doesn't need any DC's for at least 2-3 months but loves my CV so that's blown out of the water. He's getting in contact with a mutual contact and seeing if they have any scope for a DC.
The CM on this project is fighting hard to keep me and is trying to pin down the director to discuss me managing the onsite management system that enrolls subcontractors, he's hoping to have a response by Monday, so we'll see.0
