  • Had to laugh about the Pilates :rotfl:
Having said that , I used to do Pilates many years ago ..with yoga combined ;) . I could never do classes though as either I was pushed for time ( ducking in and out of the office ) or just found it as a barrier for some reason . I recommend either to anyone . Stick with it if you can.
I haven't had a bath for over 3 years :o Thats because of the water flow in my flat and the one I was renting before that . I do miss them .

You've got me thinking about the £1 coins. I did 20p's for a while but I now have loads of mixed stuff which is in the way . I'll probably start again soon. I know it's not mse , but I'm gonna give the mixed stuff to the local animal charity when I get round to it .

You have some list there pmo2 good luck with it ..
If it makes you feel any better I left a dance class after 30 minutes this week as I could not keep up with the steps and felt like a major clump!

    Love your 20 list :)

    Thank you both x
  • I started yoga last year, turned up and there was only 1 other person....I felt like a right plonker. I'm overweight and have balance problems (inner ear issues) so I fell over constantly. I'm also really unfit! I was so embarrassed but afterwards, I felt more relaxed than I had in months. So I kept going back. Now I'm at an intermediate level and not the worst in the class anymore! I don't judge anyone who's worse than me, because I remember being the stupid lump at the back, wobbling around and falling over constantly. Nobody's judging you but yourself, and you don't need to! Just keep going :)

    Chair yoga is fab.
As the name suggests it is mostly done on a chair & you would be surprised how strong it actually is.
I try to go twice a week.

I should try this, I hate exercises where you have to lie on the floor.

All caught with you PMO2, you are doing so well, this is almost the final hurdle now. You've got this!!

Good luck with finding a new job, fingers crossed for you xx
  • Afternoon diary,

Braved Pilates again on Saturday, I think she went easy on us the first week as this week she was brutal...I found muscles I never knew I had

No class this week as we are busy but I will be booked on to the waiting list for the week after.

Re DH's possible promotion, he had his 'interview' last week and all went well, he has been told that if he doesn't get this one, then he is most likely to be made a Senior in his job, so either way a win win :)

On the job front for me, I'm stil looking, I nudged my agency bloke today and he has a probable job lined up in Reading, fingers crossed that I don't jinx it.
