Afternoon,
A recruiter contacted me on Linkedin regarding a job, asked if I was interested, I said yes and.....nothing more
I tried Pilates on Saturday morning...what a sight that was....I was the only newbie there, I have zero coorination and I'm about as flexible as a brick :rotfl: I'm on the waiting list for this Saturday too...must be a glutton for punishment :rotfl::rotfl:
Kids went back to school on Monday much to DS's dismay lol
Had to buy DD some bra's at the weekend....She is now the size I was when I met DH  so £36 lighter and she has some with the underwire to give her the support she needs. I did try and talk her in to some rather lovely spotty ones in M&S but she wasn't having it :rotfl: To be fair to her, her last lot lasted her 6 months and didn't cost as much, they've been put in the clothing bin near home.0 -
So I have been thinking of my 20 in 2020, list so far:
- Do 20 walks - 1/20 so far
- Donate 20 items to the food bank - 0/20
- Read 20 books - 0/20
- Swim 20 times - 0/20
- Have at least 20 LTW per month (if it's doable)
- Save at least 20 £1 coins - Only managed 15 last year
- Clear my car out 20 times - I rarely do this lol
- Clean my car 20 times - Again I rarely do this lol
- Hang the washing out 20 times - 0/20
- Donate 20 items to the clothing bank - 0/20
- Do 20 things I've been avoiding
- Spend 20 minutes in the garden tidying etc each week
- Spend 20 minutes in the garden/conservatory relaxing
- Ensure I have a bath at least 20 times - No I'm not a dirty cow...I tend to use the shower more, I love a bath but hate running one :rotfl:
- Make our bed 20 times a month
- Do at least 20 exercise classes 0/20 - must be a glutton for punishment!
- Up Pots by 20%
I need a few more that I need to add to the list above but pleased with my list so far.0 -
Had to laugh about the Pilates :rotfl:
Having said that , I used to do Pilates many years ago ..with yoga combined. I could never do classes though as either I was pushed for time ( ducking in and out of the office ) or just found it as a barrier for some reason . I recommend either to anyone . Stick with it if you can.
I haven't had a bath for over 3 yearsThats because of the water flow in my flat and the one I was renting before that . I do miss them .
You've got me thinking about the £1 coins. I did 20p's for a while but I now have loads of mixed stuff which is in the way . I'll probably start again soon. I know it's not mse , but I'm gonna give the mixed stuff to the local animal charity when I get round to it .
You have some list there pmo2 good luck with it ..0 -
If it makes you feel any better I left a dance class after 30 minutes this week as I could not keep up with the steps and felt like a major clump!
Love your 20 listIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Buffer fund 0/100

Afternoon,
Heard from my contact today, he was asking what package I'm looking for, told him and now just waiting to hear....really hoping for some good news.
Added something else to my list nearly there.
I've confused DH as I've been making the bed every morning :rotfl:
Brought my lunch with me today and had a free breakfast thanks to a client meeting on site
I've decided that when pay day comes, I am going to bite the bullet and clear the OD (bar £500) and then tell DH that I've done it. It will save us £50-£70 pm in fees. The debt will then be in two places and much easier for me to then attack.0 -
Ooh good luck with your contact!0
