Hi, I'm a returning member just getting caught up with all the goings on, I also unfortunately have a yarn habit, currently crochet but previously knitting, a fabric habit, quilting and a papercrafts habit for scrapbooking which I haven't actually done any of for a few years oops. Well done for clearing so much debt.0

Hey - thanks for popping inMy vices are crochet and cross stitch, the crochet is the one that drains my finances! I really want to give quilting a try but out place just isn't big enough, so in a few years when we buy that will be my next adventure :A

Monday morning... comes to quick every time!
What a weekend that was. We were out until the birds started chirping again on Saturday night, so yesterday was a very lazy day but it always takes me a few days to catch up!
In money news, £8 over budget on the food shop. Popped into Aldi again yesterday to look at wool, didn't buy any wool, but did come away with three candles (One was 50% off, and we'd been watching it for ages to drop down form £8!) and £20 worth of 'stuff'. Not great, but it was the only money I spent over the weekend. And in my defence, included in that £20 was lunches for this week because somehow I forgot the stuff in the proper food shop, and hangover food of which we have lots of leftovers. So I think it's a win, because we could have just ordered Chinese, had no leftovers, and no candles.
Still no sign of deposit, I hope the get a wiggle on because we are off on our holibobs on Sunday and I would love to have it back and sorted by then. Holiday countdown is on, only five more working daysPaid - 7095/26218 - Total0 -

Coming back in because I can't believe I forgot my biggest MSE win of last week.... I got way over excited and needed to share!!
Aldi on Thursday night looked like someone had announced a pending apocalypse and OH and I had missed the memo. We were having a thai curry that night and they didn't have an curry paste and I'd been looking forward to it all day so we ended up finishing up in Asda for a few bits. Curry paste, mince and cabbage. I managed to get 4 packs of 'Ground beef spicy pizza topping' on YS, 4 x 850g packs for £2 :money::money::money:
OH was tickled by how excited I got, because we never find YS stuff in Aldi so it was my first one in ages :rotfl:Paid - 7095/26218 - Total0 -
Well done hun, I love YS finds
