WOW! Quidco must have heard me moaning, all of a sudden £29.53 has been confirmed! YAY indeed!!!!! Whipped that straight out :rotfl::money:Paid - 7095/26218 - Total0

Real actual proper didn't even have a budgeted for or planned spends, NSD yesterday, woop! Well happy with the quidco payout too! Got a teeny refund on the water bill (£1.54), and am up to £4.85 on PA. All heading in the right direction! No spends planned for today, and boy house becomes our house tonight, as I take round the last bits of my stuff. Had my last sleep at my house last night, and today I'm all happy and excited for the 'move'. Just got to get through work first

No additional earnings yesterday but another actual proper NSD. First night in my new home, although it feels weird calling it my new home because I still have responsibility for the old place. Letting agent called today as they want to come take pictures to put it back on the market. Had to explain it's very empty and hasn't had the big clean, they didn't seem worried....
Planned spend only today of a food shop, budget of £50 to include only one bottle of wine. Going on my own this week so no sneaky treats will make their way into the trolley!
Almost the weekend! Birthday party on Friday (not mine) in the pub, so few drinks to be had, and a boards games afternoon/evening on Saturday. Possible take away but depends who's hosting, if it's us we will cook. Social budget for the weekend £40, should be doable provided I don't overdo the drinks on Friday!
Stumbled upon a crochet mandala tutorial last night, and it looked so good I had to try it, only to discover the pattern and rest of videos after part one cost £3.49. I really like it, and am debating on purchasing, but it would either need to be earned out of QMEE or taken out of the fun budget. The craft pot is empty. I'm going to mull it over...

I'm coming in and putting myself straight on the naughty step this morning. Week three-itis has struck, and I did a bad. So i researched the crochet pattern extensively yesterday and not only decided to spend the money on that, I also decided to buy the most stunning ombre yarn cake to go with it. £24.73 later.... I've officially blown my craft budget this month. I'm now just deciding if I sacrifice the money from the fun budget or the holiday spending money.
In better news, food shopping was only £4 over last night. They still had the spice mixes that we use a lot in store so I stocked up on a few more of those, and apart from that stuck to the list. I stood by the cakes and saw some lovely ones that looked like the co op posh cakes, salted caramel, chocolate, lemon or Carrot. I actually drooled, and resisted. It's not on the list, and I get poorly if I eat sugar so I just walked away dreaming of lemon drizzle.
Working form home today and then a cheeky birthday celebration tonight, looking forward to seeing everyone and some live music. Friends picking us up so no spend on Uber but we will buy a drink to say thanks.

Oh god I did a thing.....
I just got so sick of looking at my loan balance on my spreadsheet, I've emptied my emergency fund to just get shot of it. Eek. It means I can put £300 in my emergency fund on payday to start the ball rolling again, but lets just keep fingers crossed there are no emergencies between now and then. Got to love an impulse debt reduction....Paid - 7095/26218 - Total0 -
Hi Coffee!
Found and caught up with your diary. Will be subscribing for the journey!
We seem to be really similar, going by your diary so far and the comments you've made on mine
I used to do a lot of crafting but for one reason or another kind of fell out of love with it, but I recently picked up a Macrame Kit from A1di which I'm looking forward to giving a go.
So glad it's all going well in the boy house, and great that he is so supportive. That's all you need at the end of the day isn't it, knowing that people can be non-judgemental and 100% behind you.
You're making great progress, looking forward to the updates!

Happy Tuesday! Work is taking up too much time at the moment, but it's swings and roundabouts so I shouldn't complain.
Yarn cake turned up and I AM IN ACTUAL LOVE! No regrets on that one at all. Weekend was another mixed bag, slightly overspent from what I wanted to on Friday, but made up for it on Saturday. Still in budget for the month but there's still two weekends to go. It'll be squeaky butt time I think unless I knuckle down and stay in.
Loan is now officially paid off. Great feeling, but slightly tarnished by the mild sense of panic at not having my emergency fund in the bank anymore. Less than two weeks until I can stick a lump back in. Looking forward to seeing this months totals, debt payment will be high (for once!)Paid - 7095/26218 - Total0 -

Hi Coffee!
Glad to hear the yarn cake was worth the money, at least you know you spent money on something that's worth it and you're going to enjoy using it!
I know what you mean about the emergency fund, I have some in mine but I'm actually saving it for two big things to pay in Jan. I just can't seem to move it out in to those pots though, even though I know I can use it if I need to!

I am so in love. It's proper yummy, and such a treat! And it's so soft! Can't wait to get home tonight and start the mandala, just need to work out what hook size to use as it's a lot thinner than the stuff I usually work with.
No MSE news, only planned spends yesterday of petrol and mince for dinner. Nothing planned on the spendy front today. Been invited out this weekend by on of OH's friends who I have yet to meet, I've put it off twice already so kinda feel obliged to go, might just go with £20 in my purse and not take out any cards so I can't spend any more. Wasn't planning on going out, could do with a weekend in to be honest, but hmm. Will see.
No additional earnings so far this week as work is working me hard. Also no unplanned spending so far, but it's only Wednesday. Must stay strong this week

Goooood morning!
Very happy MSE day yesterday. Had to spend £8 on replacement light bulbs for old flat, because never replaced them. It's a prety small space and with 8 spots in the living room it was like sitting under the glare of 1000 suns, even the low volt ones, so I just didn't bother. But that means I had 9 to replace throughout the flat before I go. Straight out of the moving pot and the only spend yesterday.
Managed to get some down time and ended up with a £5 PA cash out, and another quidco of £16! it's all come at once with quidco! That'll be the last of it for a while now though, I think I only have £15 ish more pending.
Planned spends today is a food shop tonight, on my own again so no sneaky treats, and no wine this week. Last week I managed to drop the ball on some dips and some mince that went out of date before we got to them, so slapped wrist and remember to check dates when I get it home so can freeze stuff if needed. Budget £50 for the two of us tonight.
Boy is away for two days with work so have the place to myself, rubbish telly and crochet here I come
Happy Thursday all xxPaid - 7095/26218 - Total0
