    Point to remember.

If you've given away/sold your Club Lloyds cinema tickets, think before closing your Club Lloyds in case you inconvenience the new ticket owners.
I did that a few months ago - what I did to check was to try to use them on the Vue website (and would have not completed the booking if they were accepted - I know they don't get used just by entering it) - codes were invalid, so they must have been used.
  • I got accepted for an account and it took me as far as the switch screen. Unfortunately i couldn't go any further (wouldn't let me click next)

I've tried to call and find out if the account is opened but no one can seem to tell me. I haven't recieved an email.

I realise no one can tell me, but is it safe to assume when you get to the switch screen the account is open?

    Any ideas?

If the account is open the screen normally shows you the sort code account number and you normally get an email with all the details

I've read the T+Cs on this switching offer, am I right in thinking that the account you are switching doesn't have to be outside of lloyd's banking group? I have a Halifax reward current account that I was going to switch. I rang Lloyd's but the person I spoke to said she wasn't sure and would put me through to someone who would know, who then cut me off before I got a chance to speak...

My other half has an Lloyd's Classic account. It was a Club Lloyd's account but it was downgraded to classic 6 months ago.

    Plan:-
Other half apply and switch account
    I will apply and switch
Apply for joint account and switch.

Will that make an entitlement to 3x switch payments?

    Thanka
  • Will a switch of a Bank of Scotland Classic Vantage current account to (new) Club Lloyds current account qualify for the switch bonus? The t and c's just say switch an account with another bank using CASS. I guess B of S qualifies as "another bank" from Lloyds even though they are all part of LBG? Or am I wrong?

Only one offer is available per customer. Joint accounts will only be eligible for one payment.

Anyone getting the issue with the "continue" button not showing up in Chrome?

Just tick the "I agree" button or whatever at the bottom (untick it first if you ticked it before reading this)

Then press tab and press enter. Worked for me

I had this exact same problem, and a poster a few post back seems to have had the same issue, so I reckon it's quite widespread.

I went onto live chat and they were useless, but I had a Twitter conversation with a helpful chap last night.

The account is not opened and it's a dropped application. Dropped applications fall off their system overnight.

I had the "already applied" message when I tried again yesterday, but it's worked fine today when I've reapplied., so it seems any failed applications from yesterday (due to the missing button!!) will work today. The button was there today too.

    Good luck.
Whilst my posts do not constitute financial advice, I am always, without fail, 100% right! :D
