Is there a particular cinema house tickets I will be offered i.e. can be used only in cineworld or only in odeon or I can redeem my 6 cinema voucher at any cinema house? If I can choose any then can I do 2 cineworld, 2 vue and 2 odeon? Also I will be given the vouchers upfront or will be available every few months?
You'll be emailed 6 cinema vouchers approximately 1 month from account opening. You can only choose between Vue and Cineworld and they all have to be the same.0 -
Haven't quite decided yet, when I look at Lloyds there are two DDs showing relating to Birmingham Midshires, the one that paid on the switch, and other with all the details unknown.
As it is supposed to pay out on the 1st or 2nd of the month, think I will wait until a couple of days after that and setup a new one if needed. It's possible that BM/Lloyds have setup a replacement DD already but the old one paid out in error during the switch process.
BM sets up two DDs - one used for one-off transfers and the other for regular (weekly or monthly) transfers. That'd probably explain why there are two mandates on your account. It's probably easier just to cancel the mandates on both ends after your payment is due, and re-link your account to Lloyds rather than trying to get BM to sort it out.0 -
No such problem for me on the Lloyds, Halifax or BoS app (they are essentially all the same). I am on the latest iOS 13.1.3 and Lloyds V 51.05 - which ones are you on? Have you tried re-installing the app?
I am currently trying out the Public Beta for iOS 13.2 but am running the latest version of Lloyds Bank v51.05. I haven't tried removing and reinstalling the app but will do to see if that clears the issue.
I know sometimes beta builds of iOS can affect banking apps but I still had the same trouble when using the latest general release of iOS 13.1.13 and not in beta.
On a side note my £125 has been paid today :beer:It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -
All done online - I had to downgrade 2 sole club accounts and 1 joint to be able to reapply for 2 sole club accounts online (using existing customer option). No impact on existing Club Monthly Savers. Downgraded and reapplied on sunday and 2x£125 credited on wednesday. Thanks to the original poster!0

Tried to use my halifax debit card this morning, and it was declined - used my new Lloyds card for the first time.
So looks like my account switch and shut down of the Halifax account is all complete, on schedule.0 -
I only applied on the weekend, and I received my £125 yesterday and my card and PIN arrived today. I've registered for online banking, and was relatively easy to set up new payees and make payments to other accounts.
I even managed to open another classic account online in seconds. Now I wonder what I could use that for?
Coming from Barclays online banking, I do feel it's potentially a little less secure not using 2 factor authentication. Our green credentials: 12kW Samsung ASHP for heating, 7.2kWp Solar (South facing), Tesla Powerwall 3 (13.5kWh), Net exporter0 -

I was going to ask the same question, as I have just opened a NatWest account with the intention of switching to Lloyds0 -
