i'll be keeping the account open so i'll transfer the 1500 within days of being able to log in i believe its every calendar month and not a month from opening etc but i'd want other people to confirm this was correct.

Will this work?
My partner has a Nationwide current account and a regular saver, she wants to move C.A to Lloyds for the £125 switch offer.
The problem is this, she has paid in the last amount to her saver and the regular saver is due to pay out on the 5th November the same day the Lloyds offer ends.
Her Nationwide saver is setup to pay out to her nominated account which is Santander, do you think she could start a switch to Lloyds with her C.A now and leave her regular saver to sort it’s self out.
Do you think Nationwide could give her a problem as technically she should have a C.A whilst having a regular saver?
Any thoughts please.I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.0 -
We have 2x sole CL accounts and 1x joint account.
I've just downgraded my sole account and tried to open a new CL account (and switch into it).
I don't get the option to select a new CL account when logged in.
When I log out and apply as a 'new' customer, I get a 'You already have this type of account' as it recognises my details...
Am I stuck with a downgraded Classic account now, or do I need to wait or contact them? (would rather do it all online)0 -
Well how easy was that, applied for the account 6th Sunday afternoon and accepted, activation code arrived in the post this morning, £125 incentive paid this afternoon Wednesday 9th. My switch date is 15th, lovely jubbly.:T0

Same for me, applied Saturday and received £125 just now. Haven't even had any correspondence from the other bank that a switch is taking place!0

Ah well, Good news........incentive bonus paid in to both husband's and my accounts.:T
Bad news.........still waiting for cards and PINs. We've received the welcome pack saying that cards and PINs should arrive within seven working days and actually there is a rather natty little feature on the mobile app whereby the cards (even ones we haven't received yet) can be frozen, which I did on Monday, so they wouldn't be of any use to anyone even if they were intercepted.
The only reason I'm a little concerned is because on another occasion I was waiting for a card from Lloyds for a new account and it took them three attempts before I received it (long and tedious tale, with which I won't bore anyone now.)A cunning plan, Baldrick? Whatever it was, it's got to be better than pretending to be mad; after all, who'd notice another mad person around here?.......Edmund Blackadder.0 -
Forgot to ask for progress updates when switching;
If CL was opened on 3rd October and switch initiated on the same day what is my expected switch date please?
Also, switching from BOS and never used the debit card does it need to be activated for the switch to succeed?

Been away for a while and slowly catching up by skim reading:o.
Has anyone had an application for a new Club Lloyds, made immediately after 'upgrading':cool: existing account to Classic, declined?
Anyone done it, opened new CL, completed the switch and not received the incentive?
Any downside? Apart from short term loss of Lifestyle benefit?
Thanks0 -
I have no previous involvement with Lloyds. Though I set up a log in ID and a password at account opening, I can't get into my account online. Does it necessitate the activation code I've been told is on the way?0
