X: "You’re about to chat with one of our colleagues. They’ll give you help and guidance. They can’t answer questions about your personal accounts, or give advice about products. They’ll never ask you to move money out of your account.
Please don’t tell us your username, password, memorable info, card number or PIN.
You’re now connected to one of our colleagues.
Hi, how can I help?"
X: Good afternoon, you're on chat with X, can I take your name please?
You: Hi X, I have a question about the current switching offer from Lloyds
You: Mr X X
You: I do not currently have any Lloyds product
X: Hi there, Mr X. Hope you are well today. How may I assist you?
You: ok, my wife and I are considering switching two accounts....our joint X account and my wife's X current account. Would we receive 1,2 or 3 switching bonuses?
X: Let me quickly check that for you. Please allow me 1-3 minutes.
You: no problem
X: I greatly appreciate your patience.
X: You will receive 2 cash back offer.
You: thanks for checking that. A chap on the phone spoke with before told me we would receive only one so I'm a bit confused
You: are you sure?
X: I'm sorry to hear that.
X: Yes, you will then receive 2 cash back offer since you will be switching 2 different bank accounts over to us.
You: ok, thanks for checking that. Do you have the facility to email the transcript of this chat to me? Just in case someone tells me different after we apply!
X: I'm sorry, we don't use an e-mail as a form of communication to our customers due to security reason.
X: However, you have the option to copy paste or print this chat if you click on ‘End Chat’.
You: thanks, I'll do that. Appreciate your help

It depends which switch you do first. If you switch a sole account into a sole account each then you will receive 2 x £125. If you then switch a joint account into a joint account you will receive no further incentive.

Typically, about 7pm, the incentive goes in for me!
Suffice to say I think "about 4 working days before the switch goes through" is the ballpark for when you should expect to receive the incentive.urs sinserly,

But presumably they have any time up until and including Friday to get it into my account (before the 7 working days is up) so not worth calling or stressing about it. Bigger issue for me is that I don't yet have my card or PIN, which seems a bit delayed to me.
I had an initial text saying that my switch request had been received, and have had nothing since.
Target switch date is the 14th. Called up to ask as I was a bit concerned I'd heard nothing also, was basically told "yeah looks OK". Which... no idea, really.
I'll give it a few more days.
Exactly the same for me, JJ.
Switch date is 14th for both husband and self and apart from an initial text to say we'd requested the switch, nothing else seems to have happened (apart from a text from the outgoing bank.) I was expecting at least the cards and/or PINs in the post today, but nothing ( mind you, our post can be erratic, depending on the whim of the postman delivering it!)
I'm hoping that tomorrow will bring forth the either the cards, PINs or bonus! (Like you, we have until next Monday.)
Edit to say.......glad you've received your incentive - hope ours comes tomorrow!A cunning plan, Baldrick? Whatever it was, it's got to be better than pretending to be mad; after all, who'd notice another mad person around here?.......Edmund Blackadder.0 -

We wanted to switch 1x sole account and 1x joint account (not 2x sole and 1x joint).''He who takes no offence at anyone either on account of their faults, or on account of his own suspicious thoughts, has knowledge of God and of things devine.''0 -

If you do the sole account switch first, the other person would be OK for the joint, but not the other way round.0 -

At least it's not just me... maybe Lloyds are just slow at card delivery? (Doesn't really bother me since I haven't lost a card in literally ten years but still...)urs sinserly,

Can you switch an account with £1500 but no DDs and still get the incentive?0

Can I switch from firstdirect and get their £100 'leaving present' and get the £125 from Lloyds?
Not seeing anything that would stop me, but thought I would check first.0 -

Are you perhaps confusing the switch T&Cs with the normal operation T&Cs of the account? You need to pay in £1,500 each month in order to avoid the monthly fee. You need 2 DDs to earn any interest from the account - but the interest rates are now no longer the best so you might not want to bother with DDs.0
