Our switch date is 10th, i v'e just downgraded both account's to the classic via smartphone, this has got to be the easiest and quickest £250 we have made so far, well done Lioyds.
I think i will leave them till November and switch them to Barclays.0 -
Hmm due to switch on 11th and no payment received yet but seems most people have. Anyone else still waiting?
Edit - received now.0 -

Still waiting here. But presumably they have any time up until and including Friday to get it into my account (before the 7 working days is up) so not worth calling or stressing about it. Bigger issue for me is that I don't yet have my card or PIN, which seems a bit delayed to me.
Didn't get an answer before, but for anyone who did get paid, did you get a text to say it had happened or did it just appear without fanfare?urs sinserly,

Will switching over from previous bank account £2500, count as my first months ‘pay in £1500 each month to avoid fees’ of should I make a separate payment?0

I applied for my new CL account last week on Wednesday electing to switch ASAP, the bonus was paid Monday and switch completes on Friday. Switch bonus arrived as an "incentive" payment without any notification. I already had access to internet banking from my existing credentials so I didn't have to wait for anything to be set up so I noticed it the afternoon it was sent. Card and PIN both arrived on Mon (they usually stagger these so they arrive on separate days but I guess Royal Mail decided to hold onto mail over the weekend or something). They technically have until "before your switch completes" to make the payment, so as long as it arrived on or by your switch date then I wouldn't worry too much. In my experience card/PINs usually take up to 10 working days for be sent and received.0 -

I would make a £1500 separate payment just to be sure. However, the worst that can happen if you don't is that you get charged £3.0

I opened the account and initiated the switch in my local branch which was actually a pleasant experience. Similar in attitude to Virgin's KYC. No effort was made me to entice me into anything else.
One thing I did establish was that the deposit £1500 each calendar month didn't apply to the calendar month of opening. However caveat emptor if you're unsure whether to accept that!0 -
Odd.
The 15th would be about the time it should take to complete it, not start it.[/QUOTEJuicyJesus wrote: »Yeah that's been misread. It's 7 working days from input to switch complete. 7wd from now is the 15th.
Have people that are in the process of switching been receiving text alerts of the progress?
I opened mine on the 4th October by phone and was given the date of the 15th, but I am starting to wonder if that was the start of the switch, not the completion as I thought, as I haven't heard anything from them yet.
Also I switched my mum's Club Lloyd's to her BOS (as had DD that she is keeping) on the 3rd October by completing their online form and again thought that the completion date was the 14th October, but nothing appears to be happening on her's, so I am wondering if the date is actually the start date.0
