There are a lot of horrible things going around at the moment so take care :)

I'm I logging the +1 or is it an interim?

Log it - that's what I get for having an @sda RTC pizza and clearing the mini magnums from the freezer :D

  • Ugh, that sounds bad, Needtobethrifty, I hope you recover quickly. :(

Brambling, how kind of your nephews to rescue from the key lime pie, it would have been very tempting to have about the house!:rotfl:

Well done on your 1lb loss, s_glover, the scales are mysterious (possibly sentient) beings who like to befuddle us. ;)

I am happy to report a further 4lb loss this week, which makes a total of 14.5lbs since I began my diet, 4 weeks ago. I know this is the early days of my weight loss and things will slow down soon, but I am glad to get this head start.

Thanks for all the support and encouragement, everyone! :happyhear:

  • Good morning everyone
Weigh in today and have lost 1lb (can’t figure out how to highlight in red). As I did mess up a bit in the week I’m pleased with this and will try harder this week. Today’s plan is as follows:-
    B- toast yoghurt apple
    L- low fat sausage tomatoes
D- gammon jacket potatoe and peas

sirens and need2bthrifty so sorry you're both under the weather, hope you both feel better very soon.

s_glover that's fab, well done you! I totally agree with brambling... jump off quick!!!

FrugalLina you are the Queen of Pounds. Another victorious week. Blooming marvellous!!

Millymouse that's great and well done. We are all doing each other proud.
(The making things red is easier on a desktop. On the row above the typing box theres a big A with a black line under, if you click the drop down there you get your colour choices. You can choose before you type or highlight the text then choose a colour. If you are using a phone or tablet it doesn't always work, depending. Sometimes I choose black because I am able to select it, then when the coding text comes on the screen I change the word black to the word red. Hope that makes enough sense to try it! No prob on desktop or laptop)

Today I have been to Timpsons to have new holes punched in my belt. I needed 2 but had 3 done at the ready. And they didn't charge me!

    B -
L - 2 boiled eggs with LO ratatouille
T - the butternut and chickpea curry again, with rice. Followed by strawberries and a little cream.
A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks
  • Good afternoon everyone :).

Congratulations to all who’ve lost weight, and wellness wishes to everyone who’s under the weather.

    Meal plan for today:
    B: bacon x 2, tomatoes x 2, mushroom x ginormous :D
L: jacket potato with baked beans, apple, yogurt
D: meaty soup (spare gravy from yesterday’s casserole)’ venison steak, peas, courgette, followed by yogurt with blackberry & apple.

Post vet visit snack: 4 oatcakes with jam. (Comfort eating because of worrying about Senior Dog who’s very old.)

Temptation to avoid: finishing up lo biscuits from meeting I’m hosting this afternoon.

    Time for lunch, ‘bye-bye!

    Well done Millymouse! :j

    Thank you tighteningthebelt! :)

Blue Doggy, sorry about the worry about your elderly dog, I know that feeling when they are at that age, it is very stressful. Good luck later with those biccies, get someone to take them away with them! ;)

Sirens and Thrifty I hope you're feeling better soon.

Molly focusing on your recovery definitely sounds like the best plan and I hope things improve soon.

Well done on the losses everyone and Frugalina, just over a stone in 4 weeks is amazing!!

Can I please cheat slightly and change my weigh in day to a Friday?

If I do that I can record a very small 0.5lb loss for week 1.

I fear that if I have to record a gain on week 1 again I'll give up and go completely off the rails. Having a few days to try to undo the weekend's damage will hopefully give me the incentive to jump straight back onto the wagon.

I know that the next month or so is going to be really hard going because I've got plans every weekend which involve alcohol and/or eating out and I know that I have very little willpower once I start, and even less when I'm hungover :o

That was my biggest problem this weekend. An intended glass of wine with dinner on Friday turned into a LOT of wine. I was then pathetically useless on Saturday and ate junk all day. Even while I was doing it I knew I would regret it but I didn't seem to be able to stop.

It seems that there are a few of us here who are minus their gallbladders. I sometimes wish they could put mine back in as it made dieting so much easier - I found I was much more able to resist crisps and chocolate when eating them came with a very high likelihood of excruciating pain :D

Thank you Izadora. I sympathise about the weekend socialising causing issues with weighing on Mondays, I think it affects many of us.

Anyway, congrats on the .5lb, that is still an achievement.
