FrugalLina are the meatless nuggets quorn?
No, they are Tesco own brand, mostly soya protein with lots of starches and flavourings. I am not really a fan of Quorn products (I tried some when I was just a vegetarian), they make me feel a bit queasy, plus many have egg white added and so far, my local supermarket only has the fish (cakes?) in the vegan range and I really don't fancy those.
Anyway, these are something a bit different and not too bad calorie-wise.
BTW, I have to say, your cooking always sounds so lovely!31.5/1000 -

I have no willpower at all with anything that's made it's way into the house. I'm totally incapable of having one solitary biscuit. So I have to take action upstream.
I shop online, i have now deleted all sweet stuff from my shopping lists, and bread.
My plus points are; being in this group, Iiving on my own during term time so I can retain high kitchen control, and being far too idle to go out in the evening when I fancy a snack!

T - LO small pasty, mustard mash, carrots, spring greens. Stewed apple, little cream.
Your tactics to avoid temptation are really good, I am sure they will pay off.31.5/1000 -
hello folks x
Ive decided to opt out of this challenge as I think I need to focus on my recovery and my body is telling me this too.
I shall join you all in the New Year and in the meantime I will focus on my health and on healthy nutrious food.
I wish you all well and will follow the thread with interest
Kind regards xxxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Good morning to all, it’s good to share our temptations and how we deal with them. Well done all resistors!
Resisting the doughnut was not futile! Sunday is my usual weighing day, and this morning I found I’ve lost (cue drum-roll!)2 lbs
I kept to plan yesterday. Today’s plan is:
B: porridge with raspberriesspinach soup (HM), steak & kidney & mushroom casserole with onion, broccoli, and celeriac, followed by blackberries and apple with yogurt
T: ham salad, yogurt“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Hi Molly41 I think you are doing the right thing by giving yourself time to recover. I was unwell for almost two years after having my gallbladder out it took its toll on me. A lot of people recover in weeks which made it all the more frustrating for me so I pushed myself but learned the hard way. Not everyone can bounce back straight away so you have to listen to your body and give yourself time to heal. I hope you will feel better soon. Wishing you all the best0
