    It's a conspiracy :(

Squirted stuff on basin and left it to work whilst I got dressed.

Started to wash off stuff and … crunch :( ouchie :( (sharp pain in lower back with a crunching sensation). It must have been the angle I was at or something. Anyhoo - I've cleaned the basin :T. And decided that flying should definitely carry a health warning.

I have come downstairs with a gammy knee AND a gammy back - and, did I mention that I struggled to grip with my left hand when I filled up with petrol on Thursday (thumb pain)? I'm falling apart  Seriously hope taking Vitamin D solves the problem(s) or else I'll have to trolley off to the Surgery :(

Sounds like WM has finished swishing - so I'll peg out that load and set second lot of towels swishing. Very carefully!!!

  • Be careful, Round - if you've been bending with your back instead of your knees, you've put a lot of stress on your back - and NO lifting and twisting at the same time. Throw the towels most the way down the stairs one by one to reduce bending, and then put them into/take them out of the WM one by one.

Zonked out by about 10 last night.

    Got up at half past sparrowfart again this morning, as Himself was off to work, made myself a jug of posh coffee and by 8am, I was dressed, hair tied back and then;

    Opened the windows.
Put the clean washing away/put his stuff in a neat pile by his drawers.
Made the bed (with assistance from the Idiot Cat, but as he was a birthday boy yesterday, I indulged him and had a little fuss),
Found a couple of shirts that Himself hadn't brought down for last night's washload - he likes using the anti crease function on the WM for them, so he can do them with today's workshirt when he gets back - and shoved them in the WM ready.
Took some of the slightly soggy things he'd overloaded the clothes horse with last night whilst I was asleep and put them in the TD on low heat, as there's no way they're going to dry indoors or out today, as it's cool and damp here, with not a puff of wind.
Wandered back upstairs for some fluffy socks to wear and wiped over the loo, sink and bath whilst I was in the general area.
Came back down and wiped over the hob, two countertops and the table. I've left the one with the coffee machine and the main one because I CBA at the moment - it was time for coffee #2 anyway.

I think him working most Saturdays is suiting me, as although I'm up, I've actually got the house to myself for a change.

Going to rest [strike]faff around on the internet[/strike] for a bit and consider whether I'm going to pester him to actually do the floors or do it myself. Seeing as the fridge needs a bit of a clean out, I'm undecided right now.

I'm washed and dressed and hair blow dried. Bed is made, breakfast dishes washed and one and only wash load for today is in machine.

Going to clean the fridge and then pop out for a bit.
Spend less now, work less later.

    Thank you jojo xx

Don't think washing will dry outside here either - it'll just hang there until I bring it back in - but (a) it'll get some air round it and (b) it's out the way for now :D

Underwear will be artfully draped on radiators when it's done :D

Right, now the basin is clean, and the laundry is under control, I'm going in to WUDUPA some pots - I may be a while!

  • Decided I needed food, so I'm currently [strike]mainlining butter[/strike] delicately nibbling at the last two crumpets. Whilst they were toasting, I put last night's washing up away (Himself also did that whilst I was asleep) and did what I thought was the only bowl of washing up - when I opened the fridge to retrieve the butter, I saw a couple of dubious looking items, so there is now an old mini SC bowl, a plate and a large mug that had been used to store half a green pepper [???] in it.

Folded some dry clothes and balanced them on the bannister in the hope that one of us will think to take them upstairs when we walk past. In reality, they'll probably fall off first.

Redid the sofa throw, blanket and cushion, then sat straight back down.
