I managed to take Rosie for her walk and then reheat some stew for our tea, but not much else has been done today. I'm off to bed.

    Morning all.

Pouring with rain here so another pottering day on the cards. While the family are out tonight I shall finish prepping my presentation for tomorrow.

    Have a great day everyone.

dancemum - all Willis are welcome in the Willi gang. Look after yourself xx

The towels and tea towels had dried outside yesterday :D And while the oven was heating up for my tea I rinsed and recycled 18 drinks cans - reclaiming more worktop :T

Getting out of bed was[STRIKE] interesting[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]unpleasant[/STRIKE] bl00dy painful this morning :( So
I've had a cup of tea, Weetabix, and two not parrots for breakfast. Thankfully my knee seems to be on the mend though - I came down the stairs ok (been a one stair at a time Willi all week).

I'm going to soak some more pots in the bowl, do a laundry shuffle and then go up and get dressed - taking clean, dry, folded laundry with me.

    Sounds like a plan.

    Much love to all

    Morning all

Feeling a bit creaky after our long walk yesterday. Need to get moving again to loosen myself up!

Not quite sure what the plan is for today. One wash load swishing but it will have to dry indoors. DH will do the ironing. Anything else to be decided....

Have a lovely day all x
  • Sorry I've been awol this week, manically busy. Anyhoo, I'm embracing another birthday today which means flying is off the menu for today and relaxing is the sum total of what I plan to do.

    Happy Sunday all xx

    Happy birthday asb xx :bdaycake:

Laundry shuffle exposed space for more washing to dry on - so WM is swishing.

    one bowl of pots WULTD

tipping down here - no pegging out today :(

    Happy birthday ASB.

Round, you probably already know, but coming downstairs always place bad leg first, going up good leg first.

Going to get the ironing out of the way now

I didn't know - but I quickly learned that this was the least painful way to go. Reassuring to know that I was doing it right - thank you Jazee xx

Sorting through the junk mail that came through the door yesterday - every little helps :D

  • Oh sorry to hear about your loss Valli, very sad.

I have just returned from an amazing, restful week away. We stayed in a beautiful part of the country and did lots of walking, reading and just generally relaxing, which doesnt come easy to me.

While we were away I read a self help book and it really made me realise how many of my anxieties are tied up around the need to make money and keep up with the Joneses in an attempt to feel good about myself. This is actually creating a lot of anxiety and pressure that is making me really unhappy, so I am going to try and make some changes and end the year a bit happier and less anxious.

Its pouring down here, so a day indoors getting DHs accounts up to date and gently pottering before back to the paid stuff tomorrow. DS1 stayed over last night and it was nice to catch up with him.
