Morning all
Long work day again yesterday, I managed a quick hoover of the spare room and office and DH did HHI last night. The washing I did was just about dry and I finished it off on the airer overnight
This morning I am showered, dressed and breakfasted and have done my dailies, starting paid stuff in a short while. This evening we have a bathroom fitter coming out so need to make sure I finish work on time for that. Again I’m not sure how much time I will have for flying. I suspect this weekend is going to be catch up time.
Have a lovely day all, hugs to those in need x0 -
Good morning all
Level 1 bedroom done. Wm x 1 done and washing hanging inside. It’s gloomy out. Dinner in the sc.
DH tested the heating last night. Diddly-squat working. **sigh**. Obviously it was working when the plumber tested it in the summer - when it was 30 degrees outside. Another job for the list.
I was planning on racing the vacuum cleaner around before paid stuff but I’ve run out of time. Got a frantic day there, due to having to fit someone else’s timetable, so I’m not a best pleased flylady. Oh well, off and at it, I suppose.
Have a lovely day all.0 -
General type stuff done in the house
Out side, I've cut the lawn, and cleaned a path of weeds

Lunchtime lesson cancelled so more time to fly, in theory.
Ironing pile is cleared!
4th load of washing is in, load 3 in TD, 1 & 2 ironed and put away. Slowly getting through mount Washmore.
Yesterday's beef stew divided up into 2 person portions and in freezer.
DD1s printer tested, fiddled with and looks like it will ok once I get more black ink, so planned to buy ink later today then if it works tonight will take it to her tomorrow, if not it can go to the tip and will buy her a new one. It's been sat unused for about 3 years
Still cold here, although dry and sun is trying to shine through the clouds.
Off to to try and make progress in the bedroom. It will be dot to dotting today and hopefully it will eventually be sorted.0 -
Yesterday went complete pants. I was just boiling some water to wash up when I got a message from a friend, whose husband has been failing in health this year, to say he'd been in hospital since the weekend and she had been summoned early this morning. I went and sat with them for a couple of hours - he wasn't conscious, and she had been told that it "wouldn't be long". Mr N took over vigil to support her when I went to work. We were on standby next to the phone all night in case she needed us, then I had a message early this morning to say he had passed. Mr N has known the couple for nearly 50yrs so it is very hard.
So, flying today, apart from being on support standby:
- one load through wm and optimistically hung on line.
- village magazines delivered
- cupboard under sink completely emptied and washed, inside and out.
- various loyalty cards put on one app.
- renewed rail card.
- bird feeders filled.
It is very cold here. About to start writing the report for yesterday's assessment.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Mad day today. Grandson`s first birthday so any planned flying went out the window. Managed to lock myself out of my MSE account and had to reset my password.
Really need to do some packing as I`m away this weekend. I`m away from Saturday till Tuesday so no real flying till Wednesday.Swimming not drowning0 -
Sorry to read about your friend Narc0lepsy
Paid stuff done in time for bathroom fitter to come round, just did a quick flit through the lounge with the hoover, folded the washing from yesterday and flung a load in the machine to wash overnight/in the morning.
Made some calls and did some emails for house stuff that needed doing today so pleased about that.
After the bathroom chap has been we will have supper and reset the kitchen, I may need to do another hour of paid stuff as there is yet more house stuff happening tomorrow! Working from home is good as it gives me flexibility to deal with all this but it’s quite disruptive to my day having people calling in to do quotes etc.
Have a lovely evening all x0 -
Sorry to read your news, Narc0.
I’ve cracked on with the lists since I’ve been home, and I’ve run out of steam. But it did smell good to come home to a cooking dinner.
Vacuum cleaner run around the LR, hall, stairs, landing and our bedroom.
En-suite cleaned. Bathroom will have to wait it’s turn at the weekend.
Bins and recycling emptied.
Sheets washed and now yet more washing is hanging up indoors to dry.
I should do HH paperwork but not sure that I cba atm.0 -

Dailies done
Bird feeders emptied and washed. I need to find the best type for winter as I’m having to empty and clean every day otherwise the food is wet and soggy. Walter wood pigeon does mind but I don’t want him to get ill and the other little birds don’t like it.
I have ventured in to dancepops’s garage as I discovered the roof has been dripping on the contents after a very cold night.
Mr T visited for dancegran and I managed to spend £75 myself too.
