  • Got in from work to find he had two mates in recording.

And, naturally, no vacuuming had been done, the countertop were covered in two day old pizza and he'd sort off halfheartedly pushed a brush over the shower room floor to gather in the corner you have to walk through to use it. So, whilst he was recording, I cleaned the kitchen, toilet, appliances and did the floors downstairs.

Reminded him at 10pm about dinner. At 10.50, he decided to start cooking. At 11.15, he came back from the chipshop with cold, dried out leftovers. I'm normally in bed by 9.30 and asleep by ten these days.

Five minutes ago, he pointed out that he hadn't had a chance to do anything because he'd gone to see an art installation. Except for an hour and a half cleaning the kitchen - doing what, I have no idea, as it certainly wasn't anything visible and I'd cleaned it at stupid o'clock Saturday morning.

He's now hiding in the clean kitchen.

Very quick hello from me this morning before I rush out to work.

How did it get to Wednesday already

Yesterday I prepared dinner before going out and unloaded DW and reloaded it. That 's about it, and today will be no better but to be fair no one has been in the house so still tidy.

    Today I have s/s bathroom.

Off to work now, but hoping to get home before I go to gym to put some washing in and do some ironing.

    Have a nice day.

    Morning all.

I got in at 9pm last night so it was dinner and flop for me.

This morning I have WULTD. The wet washing from yesterday is still just that. I’m out all day today running errands and hopefully getting the grocery shop done. I need to get petrol and have my haircut as well. I think I need a list...
I have 20 minutes now so I’m going to try to get a level one done somewhere.
Ionafan - mending an elephant’s tusk??! Is this a form of extreme flying that I need to aspire to?
Have a lovely day everyone. Keep dry, and I hope Dizzy is warm and dry.

    Morning all

Didn’t get to post again yesterday but then I didn’t really get to fly either due to a long work day.

This morning I have somebody coming to measure for carpet so I will start paid stuff after they have been. So far I have

    Showered, dressed, breakfasted
    Put dishes away
    S/s kitchen
    Made bed
    S/s bathroom
    Quick tidy of lounge
Emptied, washed and refilled litter trays
Put load in washing machine to swish

Weather is supposed to be ok here today so I think I will try to get some more washing done.

Have a lovely day all x

  • Himself bought me an A5 2020 diary a month ago - it's been sitting on the coffee table in its wrapping ever since [strike]and probably will still be there until 31-12-2019, at which point it will leap into an alternate dimension[/strike].

I'm now fully qualified to administer all forms of first aid to various people for the next three years.

Had a couple of potentially difficult things to do at work today, but got through them by following the procedures to the letter (what else can you do?), improved by a whistlestop tour of the pub and Mr S for some nice, light food for tonight. I was supposed to be going out, but felt my energy levels crash as I was a quarter mile from home, so I might just do food, bath and bed instead.

Met Himself at the pub - I thought he'd be there for a quick one after work, so walked in on the offchance and found him just as he was messaging me to say he was there. He's now off getting himself stabbed with the flu vaccine round the corner - the amount of infectious children I'm dealing with every day has made the decision for him, as even if 1% of them so far has been flu, he definitely wants to avoid it.

He's very contrite this afternoon after yesterday evening. Hopefully contrite enough to get the vacuum cleaner out, as I've just had a clump of feline tumbleweed land on my nose.

This new laptop he's bought me is a bit of alright, too. All sleek and brushed steel, rather than slightly sticky and resistant to all electronics-suitable cleaners. I must try keeping it clean this time.

Ooh, he's back and he's making a cuppa. Time to stop wittering for a bit.

Busy day, dashing between towns and home.
I managed level 1 kitchen before leaving the house this morning to drop DD at school. F&v market visited, grocery shop done, W!lk0 trip for DD, haircut, home to drop off shopping, back out to pick up DD. Level 1 LR ticked off, dinner cooked, kitchen given another s&s.
I’ve finished the day by having a huge argument with DD who wants to go protesting in the capital city. There is now a right atmosphere hanging over the house.

    Dailies done
Breakfast meeting was followed by a lunch for a relative’s birthday
I managed to collect some additional medication and deliver it to dancegran before meeting the school bus.

I really need to spend some time at home and clean up.
  • Basic dailies done this morning, had to take mum to the hairdresser which turned into lunch out.
Had to get a birthday card for grandson`s 1st birthday tomorrow and collect an ebay package from Argos.
So no other flying done apart from a few bits and bobs this morning.

Tomorrow looking like another busy day. Grandson`s birthday and got a surgery appointment with DH for our flu jabs.

Going away with DH from Saturday till Tuesday so after Friday will have to pick up from where I left off on Wednesday

    Morning all,

A cold start here, OH windscreen was frozen this morning so a reminder that winter is on its way.

Cleaned the wood pellet burner out and refilled it ready to go. We have used it the odd evening in the last couple of weeks when we have come in cold and wet. We live in an old farmhouse so can feel damp, but at least it's now ready to be put into action at the flick of a switch.

That reminds me I need to book boiler service, pellet stove service, look at programming on new radiator in bathroom which is electric and linked to central heating. And also decide if we get a seond pellet stove or have the barn reroofed. (Barn needs re roofing but I would love the comfort of warmth in the other half of the house, L shaped)

    WM on
    Kitchen and living room tidy

Time for breakfast and internet. I need a recipe for 2 pork tenderloins that need cooking this morning.

    Have a nice day
