Our favourite Xmas films are
Miracle on 42nd Street - there ave been a couple of versions made but i love the original black and white one, if you have a child who isn't sure whether Santa exists this will make them believe.
One Magic Christmas - we watch this every year without fail and even named our daughter after the girl in it.
Santa Claus the movie

I have picked up loads of christmas films on video from the local charity shops recently for 50p each

and Elf is on tv this sunday afternoon so will be watching that!0 -
I love Christmas films and try really hard every year to only watch them in December, rarely works :rolleyes: I've already watched Christmas with the Kranks, Santa Claus the movie, A Christmas Story (my best film), Santa Who?, The Santa Clause 1 & 2 (Tim Allen) and Holiday Inn lol

The Snowman is fantastic for children, Elf is great for all the family (children love it and there are hidden adult jokes in there too), Home Alone for all the family, The Holiday for adults and Love Actually for adults.Old enough to know better, too young to care!

and my all time favourite which no one has mentioned is
One magic Christmas.
Im sure its a disney film, and its for adults and young ones too. It is sad, but, gets the right message across and does have a happy ending.
I got it last year for about £5 I think.
