    Agreed, superb movie.

At the festive time of year I like Edward Scissorhands as well.

The original Home Alone always has my DS laughing
Scrooged. Die Hard for the young adults perhaps

The Muppets Christmas Carol is an absolute MUST whatever your age!
Also Scrooge, the musical, for me but I know this is quite old fashioned & not to everyone's taste.
    The Snowman.
    A White Christmas.
The Grinch (primarily because the scene where he's posing in the skirt reminds me of my Mother in Law:eek:. The squeaky kids singing is annoying though)

    HTH;)
Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

In England we have Mothering Sunday & Father Christmas, Mothers day & Santa Clause are American merchandising tricks:mad: Demonstrate pride in your heirtage by getting it right please people!

Adults; a third vote for IAWL. Kids; Father Christmas and the Snowman double DVD which can be enjoyed by all the family and for the family; Home Alone (the original, definitely the best) or The Nightmare Before Christmas if the children are quite robust and grown ups young at heart. Fantastic animation.

Ohhh the Muppets Christmas Carol is quite spooky but little ones may well still like it. Mine did...from behind the sofa. x

Bad Santa - adults only :D
    The Santa Clause 1, 2 and 3
    Scrooged
    Muppet Christmas Carol
The Christmas Shoes - will make you cry
    Jack Frost
    Miracle On 34th Street
    Twas the night
    How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Ross Kemp was in A Christmas Carol ( ?? - it was based on the story, can't remember the name of it) a few years ago, it was a two-parter on the BBC. Don't know if you can buy it but it was excellent :T
