I won't :D It actually sounds very good, I've got to wait until Monday evening to watch it, DD's at her boyfriends till then.

I watched It's a Wonderful Life today, I just love that film.
  • Gremlins. It always reminds me of Christmas as that is when it is normally shown and I am convinced one of them is set around Christmas. Even though I have seen it many times, I'm normally half asleep after stuffing myself with Turkey so my memory is a little hazy.

My hubbie has set a tradition of watching Home alone at christmas and also all the harry potters - I think the music gives him a christmassy feel. Then I found out the same guy does the music for both films so I bought the home alone CD for him for in the car. (ha ha):rotfl:

Little girl(2) loves nightmare before christmas and the grinch. Her fave is Polar express which I refused to buy cos I didn't like the look of it but watched it and loved it.

Elf, Christmas with the cranks is good too and scrooged(where he says use staples to stick the antlers onto the mouse - classic).

Love Actually - for grown ups. Makes me cry every time.

Home Alone. I loved it as a kid and Carol of the Bells is one of my favourite carols because of this.

Santa Claus: The Movie - We used to watch this every year on the last day of term back in [STRIKE]the eighties[/STRIKE] primary school.

    The Snowman. Nuff said.

Polar Express. Again, I like the music.

The OH likes A Muppet's Christmas Carol.

the favorites in this house seem to be

its a wonderful life - I usually watch it christmas eve with a nice bottle of wine while I finish any last minte wrapping.

The kid love the santa claus films , home alone, the grinch, the littlest loves the Polar express

Dh enjoys die hard and gremlins and I have to admit they make a change from the usual christmas films
    I am journeying to a debt-free life.
Our estimated debt-free date is January 2040. I'm on a mission to bring that date closer!
    16/02/23 debts - £9556.38
    emergency fund - £00.00
debt-free diary - Time to Face the music and deal with this debt once and for all
  • My kids love The Santa Clause and The Santa Clause 2, but we haven't seen the third yet, I like Little Woman, it's nice and seasonal, and another vote for Love Actually, though the kids wrecked my DVD and I'm still traumatised.

Can't think, am going to copy that advent calendar idea and have something to do each day instead of a chocolate calendar!

  • We start watching Christmas films at weekends from the first weekend in December. Our favourites are:

    The Nightmare Before Christmas
    Muppets Christmas Carol
    Elf
    Scrooged
    Santa Claus the Movie

Also looking forward to going to see Fred Claus at the cinema just before Christmas this year.

    Yay I love Christmas I can't wait :T
