Hi KP, so glad you are leaving and have found something new, it’s been long overdue!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁1

Thanks Ng! Honestly I'm a bit of a bit whinger, I must try to be more positive!
Sadly slept through all of the festivities this weekend, had another allergic reaction. Did manage to walk to the shop for chocolate yesterday so passed a lot of very happy families with the remnants of facepaints. Went mental and spent £10 on the chocolate and treats for myself. Regrets: one, the strawberry trifle was naff.
I still can't get used to the concept of having a king so Charles is just going to have to be queen.
Started making a cat bed, the cats will not appreciate it, but I love them. Bloody cats.3 -
In my head it’s still definitely God save the Queen too!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

You're not the only one, kings are something in fantasy novels and in history books, and talking about the coronation with colleagues at least three of us called him King Prince Charles!

I think I actually feel better if he's king Prince Charles!
My chair is good, many options which is good because I'm short. One of my cupboards in the kitchen is too high for me to reach without steps.
Did my finances finally, in a couple of months I should get to a whopping 30% of my flat owned (based on its original purchase price). I know most people choose a single way to celebrate their mortgage achievements, like getting the mortgage balance getting below a point or a % paid off the mortgage or whatever. I choose all of the achievements. It's a long slog, why not make things happier?
My cash is lower than I want. I need to be more careful.
I'm supposed to go to friends the next couple of weekends but I'm a bit nervous that I'll be too ill for the journeys. One is 3 hours and the other is 1 hour.
Made a dragon!

Went to physically see the doctor today. 40 minutes and my entire family history later and my prescription is to remove the doggo from my life. I knew it but now I know it and I'm sad. He's a good boy even if he's not a cat.
Here's him helping work today (had to WFH due to the doctor)

Hello! I've started my new job. The commute is long but I'll get used to it. The people are all very nice but I'm shattered. I'm going to be managing my own portfolio of clients and a couple of juniors which is exciting.
Good news, met someone super nice for woody. Hopefully it will work out. If not, we have the information for a specialist charity. However, there's this one woman who messaged saying she wanted him, then someone else should have him, then why didn't I call? Now she occasionally messages me to ask if I've found someone for him. Maybe it's just me, but I find it a bit weird? Never met or spoken to this woman before.
Not much to say on the finances front.. because I haven't looked for the month!2 -
