Morning all
Happyroly... that is lovely .... I have done a couple of wolves and a couple of native american indian ones...lovely colours to do :j
Well I sat yesterday and decided to choose which designs I wanted to do to turn into xmas decorations (I WILL fit them in somewhere in between my big projects, knitting, crochet and jewellery making :rotfl: - oh and cooking, cleaning and veg growing  ).... Made a list of the threads I needed -and then went through all my threads -(I keep them in numerical order in a big file using those sheets with 9 pockets to a page used for coin collecting etc)..... I have loaddddds but still had some missing -so this morning I have placed an order for those I need :j .....
Im cracking on with "in her garden" for my mum :T then I need to get the one I started for hubby done...although I will be doing lots of bits at the same time as its all in greys...and about 30+ inches tall
Then I WILL get this one done for me.... I love her and she is another biggy...and Im planning on adding lots of beads
Right back to my sewing...-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

I did xstitch as a child but only got back into it about 10 years ago. Don't know if it was the most sensible idea but the first project I did was quite a big picture of a tiger and her cubs.
Now you have started there will be no stopping you!0 -

Thank youYes, it is addictive!
The picture is called "The West Wind" and it is from Dimensions. Don't know if it is still available. I got my kit from a craft show several years ago.0 -
Happyroly, that picture is beautiful. What are you planning to do with it once it is finished?
Still not made it to my stitching, and new series of Lost starts soon so can't see me doing any this weekend. Maybe tomorrow  There just aren't enough hours in the day.
Mrsmcawber those pictures are gorgeous too. The red lady is so beautiful, sadly she wouldn't match any room in my house otherwise I would be stitching her too. Though, by the time I have finished all my 'projects in waiting' I'm sure at least one room would be suitable for her since I seem to redecorate quite a lot too:rotfl:
Harley xCross Stitch Challenge member 11 - May challenge well under way
Very proud mummy to Gorgeous baby girl - 29/09/09 :j
Thanks to all who directed me to Quidco - £289.30 since Nov 09 :beer:0 -
Finished my coaster last night and also stitched together my needle case that was nearly done. Now working on a 'scissor keep', then will start on to my celtic cross (lilac and green) for the wall, followed by a nice wee card kit I got. After this I think I will try another bigger one.
Anyone else get sore shoulders stitching sometimes ? Think I need to sort my stitching posture!!Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

Its about 3"..so a bit bigger than I was expecting (may use smaller hpi next time) ....but Im thinking that I could back them with some nice fabric and make xmassy scented dolly bag style pouches

Can I ask you more experienced ladies ?
Are there any good online places for getting stitch kits ?
Luckily there are a couple of local shops here with kits but I was just wondering ?
