Hopefully you haven't paid in cash as they wont be wanting to hand it over lol0

Some cash for the deposit but the rest on debit card. Cash was less that £1000 so apparently they dont need proof of where it came from if it was less than the £1000.:A0

Guess it depends what info Thomas Cook held about the bookings on their system. Was your refund being delt with Protectclaim? If it was the reference number will begin with ZMortgage started 2015: £150,000 2016: £130,000 2017: £116,000 2018: £105,000 2019: £88,000 2020: £69,000 2021: £51,195 2023: MORTGAGE FREE!0

RS2000 it sounds like your sending alot of attachments per email. Their own websites say emails greater than 2MB may not be received. Is it possible that your email is bigger than 2MB? Are you getting confirmation each time you send them proof?
The attachments are either PDF or PNG so not large file sizes and each email I send is tracked and I get delivery and read receipts. I assume there's something I'm sending they don't deem as adequate proof - probably the credit card statement into my company's reward scheme as that doesn't exclusively prove it was used to purchase TC vouchers.
Claim status has just been changed to Pending Approval, so that gives some hope.0 -
Ah ok, apparenly they dont accept PNG images, just JPG but if its pending approval seems its ok. Mine has been on that for a few days now0

Pretty certain in one of their emails, or one of "How to....." instruction links it says PNG is an accepted format. (But I can't find it now).
Also they ask for screenshots of documents and .PNG is the default protocol for saving screenshots.
Note the above applies to Protect Claims - Other claims handlers may have different rules.
They do NOT accept Excel format.0 -
Surely on day 60 lots of calendar reminders will pop up on journalists desktops and they'll be sending FOI requests to CAA..... There's been hardly any press coverage recently.
Some of the stories I've read on here are concerning to say the least.
Other stories I've read, whether true or not are:
Of a couple who got married on 21st September and requested TC vouchers from all their guests.... Lost the lot.
Another wedding couple allegedly received their wedding presents as TC vouchers and had actually booked the honeymoon, but are now being asked for proof of purchase for each voucher used, except they've no idea which voucher came from which guest and have little chance of obtaining bank/credit card statements proving voucher purchases from every guest.0 -
Update from the CAAApproximately two thirds of the valid claims received on 7 October will be paid by the weekend. The remaining third have been contacted to obtain additional info ahead of payment. If you have not been contacted by the end of this weekend, please get in touch.0

Further to my post earlier, Protectclaims had the cheek to send me an email tonight saying my claim had been paid etc.
Considering they sent one last night asking for more info ie bank details and a signed form.
When I went online to download a bank statement they wanted this afternoon I found I had been refunded the money.
Sent reply to yesterdays email, that I would not be sending them information as I had the refund in my bank.
Then tonight they tell me its paid, when it was me who told them.
Their system is lacking I am afraid.0 -
All the major news outlets now reporting about a third of those who applied on the 7th wont receive their refund on time as promised,
I wish they would go one step further and go into more details of just how shambolic it's been,
Are heads going to roll at the CAA? They have been proved to be totally incompetent,
How much is the ceo on again ?
Hope the likes of protect claims gets slaughtered in the press too , ide love to know how much they are being paid for their total incompetence ,0
