Hayes station/high point village pcn

Hi all ,
I dropped my dad off to Hayes station whilst we were visiting my grandmother last week. I pulled into the road behind the station. I turned my car around ready to park in a bay, and as there was a lorry turning my dad jumped out and I drove off.
The pictures that are on my pcn show my dad in the car and him walking away from my car. So the 2 pictures are literally maximum of 15 seconds apart.
I’ve read another persons thread from 3 years ago but I’m not clear of how I can appeal. The op wasn’t successful in their appeal from what I can see.
Questions is an I likely to successfully appeal , and if so any ideas of how please ?
Thanks

This is a well known scamming area for these lowlifes, any appeal will be bound to fail.
Just send the blue template from the newbies thread so they know you have forum help.
This victim was successful when taken to court by these muppets:

If you search for 'high point' you'll see I actually won my case against them this week in court, for the exact same 'alleged' offense at the exact same location.0

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so consider complaining to your MP.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking CompaniesYou never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
I will have a search for your thread thanks.
So is everyone basically saying unless I take them to court I can’t win. As I literally do not have the time or money to do so?
Also in regards to complaining to my mp would
It be my grandmothers mp or mine (I live in the midlands ) ?
Thanks0 -
If you are the one complaining then you complain to your MP.
I am sure the other MP would be interested to hear what's going on on his patch too.0 -
You won’t be taking them to court, they’ll be the ones taking you to court if you don’t pay.
It took them nearly 3 years to take me to court so don’t expect a quick resolution, although you could remind them that they lost an identical case in Uxbridge County Court this week and you’ll be using the same defence.
@KeithP
I think the MP for that area is John McDonnell who doesn’t seem to care too much about it. Many people have written to him and get a standard office response that he is aware of it.0 -

So should I use newbie thread first response and then wait for pcm to respond ? If they reject what do I do then just ignore until they take me to court?
If they do that how could I win as I don’t live there to get photos of the area for evidence etc.
I’m really confused my all the threads I’ve read in regards to this particular pcn.0 -
I received this response from johns advisor this morning. Looks as if there’s not a lot they can do.

Thank you for your email
We are sorry to hear that you received the PCN
We have been battling with this issue since the turning circle at the end of the road was closed for the station refurbishment / Crossrail work.
It came to light that the land was privately owned when the turning point was closed. PCM have been employed by the owners of the private land in front of the circle, in order to issue tickets. We believe that this was due to noise nuisance and alleged issues with taxi's and parking
As this is private land, the council do not have any jurisdiction on the site either, which is a real problem with private land.
In regards to your comment "I am also expecting the usual auto reply from Hayes mp in response like has been the response for hundreds of others", I have personally responded to every person who has contacted us about this issue. John has worked with the British Motorist Protection Association, who were supporting those who have been caught by this practice, (there are other advisors on line) as well as the Trading Standards department in regards to this practice and signage. Rest assured, John will continue to press Trading Standards about this practice and the signage.
Best wishes,
Helen
