£52.05 spent on Monday in Sains..... That's my shopping for the week done.

Does anyone else do what I do?
Some weeks I find it easy to live off what is in the fridge, freezer, cupboards veg plot etc and spend very little.
At other times - it it seems to happen when I'm run off my feet and have no time - I can't be bothered with cooking and just need something quick and easy, it usually ends up being expensive, and not good for you.
I do meal plan every week but life just seems to get in the way at times.
You can usually tell when I'm like that because posting on any of the threads stops until things slow down.

Have gone completely over budget already! Will have to move some money from other categories to cover the overspend and then try not to buy anything which isn't absolutely needed.

Think I'm going to drop out of the challenge this month. Hope that's OK.

    Good luck everyone.

£27.50 spent today between Mr m and aldeee. But I know I've got to back tomorrow to buy some beansprouts plus they had 10kg bags of chapatti flour on offer for £6 which I'm tempted to buy....again. I think we may also have some spends on Saturday as we're taking a trip to our local market and I go a bit crazy at the fruit n veg and fresh fish stalls.

Zafiro- yes I can be a bit like that too, although it's Mr van that's worse. Sometimes he totally messes up our meal plan. And I don't mind so much as long as nothing is wasted. But, gotta live a little on the edge sometimes:rotfl:
Agree with tessiebear-batch cooking is fab for those CBA days:D
Oh dear Joedenise, sorry to hear that. Hope to see you back soon.
