Thank you all. Happy to report that floordrobe is now back in the wardrobe, one load of washing done, home grown veggies roasted for lunches for the rest of the week and my clean windows are still making me happy, even if DH hasn’t noticed any difference yet.0

Morning all
A very early start for me today as I’m heading in to the office for meetings, going to be a long day.
I didn’t get to post again yesterday as paid stuff not finished until 9pm!! All a bit manic and I also wanted to get a head start on today’s tasks as won’t get much chance due to meetings.
Flying after work yesterday was just folding washing and resetting the kitchen. Today will be fairly minimal too most likely, dailies will be done but that might be it, I will see what time I get back and what I can manage.
Have a good day all, hugs and posivibes being sent to those in need x0 -
Today is going to be a long day. OH got up at 4 to fly off for work and I couldn't get back to sleep as I was going over in my head how I wanted to change the organisation of my classroom for today's group so I'm up, showered and dressed and taking breakfast with me to go and sort my room. Downside is I have work until 7.15 tonight and then straight to gym class at 7.30, I'll need my friend to be very motivated to get there tonight.
WM on is probably all the flying that'll get done in this house today but looking on the bright side there's no one in to make a mess0 -
Morning all
Quick one from me as absolutely shattered and running late, lots of work stuff going round in my head last night, I'm not paid enough for that sort of stress, hoping today will be easier.
Off for a shower now have good days all xx0 -
Morning all
I’m taking DD for an appointment shortly then dropping her back at school, and going off to work. Each trip should be 20 minutes max but both towns have yet more roadworks so the queues are horrendous. I’m allowing an hour to get to the appointment but who knows? Obviously I’ve been awake half the night worrying about the traffic that I can do nothing about.....
DW emptied, bedding changed and in wm, HHI done. I really should make use of my time and do HH paperwork but that isn’t going to happen. On the plus side, I did level 1 of today’s list yesterday.
Hugs, sticks and posivibes all round as needed.0 -
Hi
New on this thread so please bear with!
I love the levels of cleaning you suggest each day. I'm aiming for the level 1 sitting room Wednesday challenge today. Might get to a couple of bits on level 2 if I'm lucky. I also like the daily quick swish stuff but this is the kind of thing I'm not so good at. Wiping the toilets each day is my idea of torture but I'm going to try and start. I'm fine with the kitchen but bathrooms are my true hate. Mine is falling to pieces and cant afford to do anything with it. I live in a hard water area so it is a constant struggle with lime scale.
Everyone seems so lively on here. I think I'm going to have to increase my energy levels to keep up.
Happy cleaning everyone.:)0 -
Morning all, and welcome Slowdown
Rubbing down and painting start today. I'm already up and dressed (shower will happen when painting stops for the day!)
Rosie heard me turn over in bed at 5.30 and got me up so that she could do an early squirrel patrol, and I haven't been back to sleep since. I made myself a cuppa and took one to DH, who was still away in the land of nod. At 8.00 I suddenly realised that he was going to his fasting blood test so shouldn't be drinking tea, but was just too late to stop him (he's happy to drink cold tea - yuck!) so the hospital trip will now take place tomorrow
Waiting to hear if the charity shop will come and collect the old wardrobe...
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, with special thoughts for Jazee x0 -

This morning, in between herding cats/boys/work stuff I have managed to set the DW running and hoover most of downstairs which includes the living room. If I get a few minutes between calls then I will get the WM on too.
Hi Slowdown, and welcome to the thread. I hate cleaning the toilet too, but I do find that a quick wipe and a squirt of bleach every day keeps it under control. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
