Well done!  Had they not provided a landowner contract and map that included that specific road?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

To be pedantic, the thread title should not say 'Compensation Awarded'.

The £95 you got was your witness costs.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

Happy to change. It's only for my half day loss of earning to attend the hearing. I requested the compensation for my research time. The judge dismissed that as it was claimed under the unreasonable behaviour of VCS in my WS(which could be a mistake).

Anyway happy to win as it's our primal goal instead of award of money 😀.

VCS WS provided the contract between Southend Airport Ltd and VCS. I pointed out that Southend Airport Ltd is not the landowner by my research. The honorable judge asked the chap who is the landowner and where is the proof. The chap gave a name but no documents to support it. The judge was not impressed and dismissed the case citing no evidence for this case. Obviously, the chap was not happy but admitted he could not provide any further evidence. The judge asked me if anything I should say before closing the case. I cited the principle of my action to defend (principle instead of money), the greedy conduct of VCS :), the help of this forum (as the guy mentioned that my WS was heavily copied from internet forums 🤔), and the fellow defendants, and my cost etc. 😀

Can you give us any further details - address, company registration number ..... ?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I'm sorry I don't know. The only detail I have is the MS team video conference invitation email address, which is on gmail.com.

Received the judgement from my local court. VCS was ordered to pay me £95 by 13/4/2021. Will VCS send me a cheque? I did not give them my bank details. :)

Hopefully!  They have a poor record of complying by the deadline, so you might have to gee them up if you don't receive it on time. Threats of 'Warrant of Control' (Google it) might have to be made, or even carried through.
