You will be defending a court claim...your posts suggest you don't realise that?
We win them but you will get one, as I said to you on this thread on 29th September 2019:All as expected and a claim is inevitable from this robo-claim sausage machine.
Which PPC is it?
Don't get me wrong I'm happy to go to court as my l final letter to bw legal stated last year. They just never did anything after that1 -
Morning all so now having had no contact apart from the "covid discount" letter since last year I have just received a letter of claim.. Again, exactly the same as the one I received last August except they added a couple of quid on top. I responded robustly to the original one and they never replied.
Any advice on a response would be good.0 -
Did you submit a SAR to the PPC at the time of the first LoC? If not, do so now. You could reply with a copy of your previous reply to them and state that your stance has not changed. This will look good when/if it comes to an actual court hearing - judges don't like ignorers.2

Yes, I requested the SAR at the beginning. I was thinking of doing it again0

BWLegal don't like answering letters because they have no answers and any answers can be shown to the judge. If they do reply it's full of nonsense3 -

I would respond and deny liability for any debt and tell them you will be defending the claim and that the details have already been supplied to them last time a LBC was sent for this case, and can they get on with it, as this is wasting your time. Do this by email. Looks better than ignoring.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
