Hello everyone. Pleased to report a loss of 1lb oz. Again, painfully slow, but 5lb 12oz off in five weeks is better than the other way around!

I caved on Saturday. Was watching catch up for Channel 4 and as soon as you put a programme on, there's an advert for pizza! But honestly, it was the smallest pizza ever. Hence my munching on a load of crisps after.

But.... it's done now and I blooming enjoyed it. I've always said that I wouldn't stick to a "diet" if I couldn't have pizza every now and then, just not all the time. The old me would have sod it and wrote yesterday off as well, but I didn't. I stuck to it yesterday.

    Plan for today:-

    B - Coffee (hea1), watermelon (s), banana (f), grapes (f)

    L - Salmon (P), salad (S) Babybel Light (1/3 HEA2)
    Muller Light 0.5
Forgot my Hula Hoop Pufts :(

D - Gosh Bean Burgers (no idea on syns, but they were in the reduced section and so thought I'd try them. They're vegan (I think), so have to be good, right?

    Wedges (f)

Veg (no idea what yet, but I bought a load yesterday and it's down to Mum to choose).

    S - Tea (hea1), Alpen Bars (heb)
Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
    Mortgages (End 2017) - £180,235.03
    (End 2021) - £131,215.25 DID IT!!!
    (End 2022) - Target £116,213.81

Well done on your pound pollyanna! :T

Using syns for pizza and/or crisps is fine provided you've allowed for them. One of the reasons that SW is a balanced healthy eating programme (and not a diet in the usual sense) is that it allows for treats. If you'd feel deprived without pizza then the syns are there to have it just keep within your weekly total. :)

The Gosh! bean Burgers are 3 syns each. :)

Plan went to pot for me today! DH came home from Dr's and said he had to go to hospital! His appointment was 10.30 and he didn't get home until 12.10 before we went to the hospital so no lunch before going

I ended up having a BLT sandwich on wholemeal - I checked the bread and there was no spread on it so at least no spread Syns! The bacon had virtually no fat on it and was wafer thin - all I could taste was tomato! We finally got home about 6.15 so dinner is in the oven now. So once again dinner is later than usual.

He's still got to go for a blood test tomorrow morning but I'm letting him do that by himself as it's the local hospital and usually a 2 hour wait!

Hope you get some answers from the Dr tomorrow tweets.

    Evening all,
I've just had a quick read through the last couple of pages of posts, but no way I can catch up on much more, as I simply don't have the time available. Suffice to say hugs too those in need, I hope those at the drs/hospital get the support needed, congrats to the losers, and better luck next weigh in to anyone struggling.

OH and I have finally finished our run of long weekend breaks using up annual leave. It's been tricky to keep completely on plan, and I have been allowing myself to have a lot more off-plan foods than I have all year. I feel like I really do want to get 100% back on it, so it's done me some good in that respect. What it hasn't helped with is the 2.2lb gain I've got as a result. I do now feel I can contribute here better.

so it's back on plan from now until Christmas (at least!). I really would like to drop 5-7lb by late November, that is my new mini target I'm aiming for.

I do have a small added complication to the plan though, I'm skint, and trying not to spend much between now and payday (which is a very long 21 days away *cries*). There aren't huge stocks in the freezer, as I cleared that out about 3 weeks ago when I defrosted it, so it's going to have to be creative.

I recently bought a cheap soup maker from Lidl, so that is going to be helping me make budget lunches with cheap veggies. Therefore I'm going to be getting my speed foods in where I can, but it may not be in a meal, but throughout the day IYKWIM.

    Today's plan:
    B - banana
L - root veg soup: sweded, celery, turnip, carrot, onion, bacon.
melon & mango (was the last of the melon which had done well to last 10 days in the fridge)
snack - Lindahls Kvarg stracciatella 4.5 syns (didn't realise the syn value at it's 0% fat so a bit miffed at that)
    snack - nectarine
D - beefburger (4) with jacket spud, beans, cheese HEA1, LF spread (1)
    HEA2 - milk in tea/coffee
    No HEB today

    Tomorrow's plan:
B - porridge HEB, with apple & sugar (1), milk from HEA
D - mixed veg soup - last portion from the batch I made, so will need to make more tomorrow
    snacks - banana & nectarine
D - bolognese ragu linguine - will add some salad if I can pick some up from the smkt cheap - only have a cucumber atm, salad cream (2) which I love on a bolognese... weird I know ;)
    snack - apple

I'm going to use the PON food planner to help to keep me on course, and it has some recipes in it too, so I'm going to see if they can give me any inspiration.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
