  • Lost just over 1LB this week.
I'm exactly the same now as when I started on September 1st ... :o

Only food today so far is a 1 egg omelette with onion, tomato and brie in a wholemeal pitta bread, and I'm now enjoying a glass of wine.

    Afternoon all.

Well done on your loss TIE and your little gain Penny.

Weigh in shows a loss of 1lb this week so I'm happy with that. Still out of target by 3lbs though. Just need to keep plodding, as Beanie says!

    Today's menu:
B/L Bacon and tomato sandwich, apple
D Beef stew (in the slow cooker - smells lovely) with mashed potatoes and a green veg - syns for gravy as I used granules.

DD2 returns from working abroad this week so she's made some special requests for dinners she has missed. Need to plan carefully so she doesn't lead me astray!

    Have a good Sunday.

Well done on your pound esmy.:T Hope your DD doesn't fancy anything too synful when she gets back. :)

Bolognese went in the freezer today. I made 9 x 200g portions from 500g of mince so, even allowing for stock, that's got to be very Speedy indeed. I really enjoy Bolognese with loads of veg and would find it very difficult to go back to a traditional recipe. Mine has tomatoes, celery, onions, peppers, mushrooms, carrots and courgettes in it and I always dice up the broccoli stalks to add some extra. I've kept one portion out for me to have with a JP later in the week.

I wasn't hungry enough to eat before we went to the football (:() so haven't eaten much today. I'll make up for it when I have my dinner.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porage with HEA milk
    L: banana
D: HB steaks (P,S) with SW roast potatoes, parsnips (F) swede & carrot mash, cabbage, cauli, broccoli, kale
    Syns: weekend wine:)

I'll probably end up over syns this week (too many wine syns:o) but I'll keep plodding. :)

Today's plan is a bit low on Speed but won't worry about that too much as have had loads over the last few days and there's more to come the rest of the week.

B - No added sugar granola; milk - HEB/part HEA
L - fried eggs; breakfast hash which is a mixture of potatoes & veg - P;S;F
D - LO roast chicken, HM chips, beans - P;F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - granola
    Syns - nothing planned

Not been a great week, but knew it wouldn't be. Was anniversary of my brothers death. I did however kind of plan. I knew how many malteasers I could eat to take me up to my full allowed syns (25 a day because of how much I currently weigh).
Went over my syns twice, but other days have all been well under, so for the first 5 days of this week I've average 12 syns a day, which I feel is good.
By planning the syns, and 'allowing' myself them, it meant I kept more in control.

So weigh in tomorrow evening, and fingers crossed I can still pull off a loss.

    Today's plan:
    Breakfast - yogurt and fruit
    Lunch - Couscous, ham, salad
    Dinner - spag bol
Snacks - fruit, rice pudding, mini cucumbers, nice coffee, cereal bars

HAs - milk (the rice pudding is 1 HA)
    HB - cereal bars
    Syns - salad cream (1)
    Zebras rock

Well done for staying in control at such a difficult time kathrynha:A. I've heard of counting syns but not Maltesers!:D

How did you hurt your finger beanie? It sounds really painful.:(

I don't think I have any syns left to use but after today my menu is pretty low syn anyway so no further damage planned.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, 2 boiled eggs (P)
L: ham (P), fried potatoes (F) LO veg and pickled cabbage (S)
D: chicken stir fry (P,S) with noodles (F)
    Syns: honey in sauce (2.5)
