That's amazing penny . I put on half a stone on my last holiday. Well done you! :T

I'm really pleased with all the cooking/prepping I've done today. Bolognese bubbling away in SC, 4 portions of swede & carrot mash, 2 portions of oven chips and tomorrow's HB steaks ready to go in the oven in the morning. We've got football in the afternoon (thanks Sky:mad: ) so need to turn our meal around quickly when we get back.

Lancashire hotpot is browning off, wine syns going down well, so all good. :D

has anybody tried the Muller Light Gin and Tonic yogurts? I love them as does OH. I made overnight oats with raspberries last night and had no Greek yoghurt so used those instead and they were lush!

My red cabbage is nearly ready, about half hour or so to go!

Made loads of faggots, thought it would be enough for 2 meals for the 2 of us but there's actually double that so 4 meals (8 portions) for the 2 of us. Definitely really good value, probably didn't cost more than about a fiver for the ingredients!

I've not even seen the Gin & Tonic yoghurts but can't say I'm keen to try them! Give me a G&T any day but not a G&T flavoured yoghurt. I've got G&T flavouring and tried that in baked oats but definitely couldn't taste it!

I have just eaten chicken curry, chips and rice :) It was gorgeous!! All SW friendly, thank you Bubbs :):):)
    Oh that was bliss :)
Rest of the day was HEA x 1 and a HEB x 1, and some jaffa cakes, syns 12.5 in all.
If I could just concentrate and get under the stone mark (each time I get to the round stone mark I stick going up and down up and down, arrggghhh) I would be very very happy :)
    Must focus and stay strong............
Weight loss 6lb/16lb 10lb to go
I spend an insane amount of time wondering if I am doing it right, sometimes I remind myself that I am doing my best....and that is enough
  • Been terribly good today, have only had 2 syns, and that is being generous! Have only made the diet cola chicken once before and didn't like it, so thought I would have another go, but adapt for my preference, was lush! Definitely to be made again, I don't like FriLight, so generally sync the spray olive oil, but actually use very little of it, so not really worth counting for the chicken. Other syns were in the baked oats, as I made it with apple & cinnamon, counting it as 2, but probably not that much.

Going out for lunch tomorrow, but that will be Lebanese, so although probably not enough speed, will be mostly free, have made scotch eggs to have with salad and chicken for tomorrow evening, so not too bad for a weekend when I could easily pig out!

Did a clear out of the freezer today, was ruthless, but everything in there now is SW friendly, also means I can freeze batch cooking!
A smile costs little but creates much :)

Thanks bubbs I decided to take the appointment for 2 weeks time and if I'm suffering in between then I'll take any doctor. I can see a doctor any day but it won't be the one who referred me for the tests.

Did you have fake KFC tonight or are you still varying the menu?:)

Gosh that rain came hammering down this morning, couldn't believe how heavy it was! Has stopped now and has brightened up quite a bit and looks quite pleasant out there but a bit windy.

Staying indoors today! 3 lots of faggots in onion gravy and 5 lots of braised red cabbage with apple gone into the freezer this morning so a few meals and sides for the coming months.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - sausages; egg; baked beans; grilled tomato; mushrooms - P; F; S + 2
    L - burger & onions in a WM roll - HEB; S + 0.5
D - roast chicken; roasted veg; roast potatoes, red cabbage; green beans - P; S; F

    HEA - milk in tea
    HEB - WM roll
Syns - sausages 2; burger 0.5; maybe a couple of rum & ginger beer 5?
