I used to make a huge rice pudding using Almond milk when we could have a litre for HEA! But can't make it as big now it's been reduced to 400ml.

Not made a rice pudding for ages. Might add that into next months plan now we get 2 HEAs!

Had a lazy day yesterday and thinking today may well be the same, although I'd like to get on with making the trousers I started a while back now that I've got a zip for them!

    Today's plan:

    B - sausage & mushroom sandwich - HEB; S; 4 Syns
    L - hash brown base pizza - F, HEA2; S
    D - Lamb chops (fat removed) P; roast potatoes F; roasted peppers & onions S; cabbage & whole beans S;

    HEA1 - milk in teas
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - sausages 2; low fat spread 2; may have a G&T or two:D

  • Went a bit awry yesterday. I was absolutely fine all day. Even bought a salad to eat on the train home, but it wasn't enough for dinner and then I just went a bit mad with the crisps. Harumph.

I've been good (ish) today. I just haven't felt hungry, so only had dinner which was an omelette (with peppers, mushroom, tomatoes, sweetcorn and cheese). I know it's not good to skip meals, but I've decided if I'm not hungry, there's no point in making myself eat.

I'm still feeling a bit mneh as sneaky peeks are showing that I am still up a lb, but hey ho. Tempted to have a few g&ts cos I'm in this kind of mood.

Need help on a few syns please. Muller Light Blueberry Muffin flavour (are all Muller Lights 0.5?).

    Bernard Matthew Turkey Escalopes.

    Thanking you.

Not every Muller is half a syn pollyanna but most of the ones that used to be free are including blueberry muffin. :)

If the turkey escalopes are the breaded ones they're 12.5 syns!

We've been to the cinema today and I had a coffee. :) I prepped dinner before we went out as otherwise I'm sure DH would have suggested eating out. I'm ignoring syns in gravy today as half a tsp of cornflour isn't worth worrying about. ;)

    Today's EE plan :
B: NAS grapefruit (F), fried egg (P) baked beans (F) HEB toast HEA milk for drinks
L: fried egg, ham (P), spring onions, courgettes, tomatoes, mushrooms, beetroot (S)
D: HB steaks (P) mushrooms, onions, swede, carrots, celeriac, cauli, broccoli, kale (S) SW roast potatoes (F)
    Syns :weekend wine :D

    Evening everyone.

    Quick post with today's menu:

B Bacon, egg, grilled tomatoes (P,P,S)
L Greek salad, wholemeal pitta bread (know the pitta isn't strictly a HEB but I'm counting it as that) Salad HEA2, S, plus 4 syns oil and olives)
D Chicken, cabbage, carrots, roasties, syn free gravy, stuffing (P,S,F,1.5 syns)

    Snacks - fruit, yoghurt (1/2syn)

    * Belated welcome back TTD and congratulations getting to target!
  • Oh well done everyone there are some great losses there! :)
I on the other hand, well (very red faced) have to admit that I went off track yesterday and wasn't brave enough to weigh this morning. Yesterday I had a kebab, chicken shish but there was a pitta bread and I had garlic sauce :(, and then because I had blown it I ate 6 chocolate biscuits and a muffin :( I feel the burn in my cheeks.
Today though I have been good:
Breakfast: Cup of tea (HEA) and a banana
Dinner: Soup with broccolli, cauliflour, carots, sweet potatoes, potatoes, mushrooms and onions so speed and free, and then a wholemeal roll (HEB) with cheese and beetroot.
This afternoon I had a tangerine.
Tea: Runner beans, bake potato and chicken, salad cream I think about 2 syns as only about a tsp.
This evening a cup of tea (HEA) and a chocolate oatie, I still don't know the syns in them but did only have one. So syns today are 1 sugar, 1 tsp salad cream and biscuit this evening, maybe total of 7 or 8??
Weight loss 6lb/16lb 10lb to go
I spend an insane amount of time wondering if I am doing it right, sometimes I remind myself that I am doing my best....and that is enough

We didn't have a roast as DH was working and as he was actually in the uni it's too hot in there for him so a roast when he came home would have just about killed him!
So we had this lovely chicken salad with home made scotch eggs :D
