Just been on Utilita website. Says they are taking over from 11th September and transfer of supply on 18th September. Rang Customer helpline and was told by adviser they do not have any information and unable to give any details of what tarriff will be. Wait until we get contacted by Eversmart/Offgem or check back with Utilita on the19th. As I cancelled d/d on the 6th and sent meter photos I worked out we owe £124! From 6th September to the 18th is a black hole regarding who charges us!
Also remember eversmart took DD a month in advance0 -
I've just been on the Eversmart website and downloaded my latest bill up to 8th September. It's correct and used the meter reading that I supplied on 7th September.
I then used the link to the Utilita website and tried to ask the chatbot about whether my switch to Symbio, that I started on 2nd September, would still go through. Needless to say the chatbot couldn't understand the question and started going on about Warm Home Discount!
I then tried the callback box, but was told that my telephone number was invalid!
Doesn't bode well.
And as for their tariff - well it would cost me about £350 more pa than my Eversmart one (and my future Symbio one).0 -
Must admit even though they were one of the cheapest, what a pain to deal with, they deserve to go under. I have no doubt that when we get transfered the next bill will be 5p a unit higher at least. Time to start shopping around again.
PROBLEM: is i can't work out the tariffs Utilita are charging. they show 2 rates & a night rate. I have only seen either 1 rate or economy 7. The other problem is there is not one rate that's less than 3 times what i am paying with Eversmart.0 -

So then we need to sit tight until the 18th before we can look to switch?Current Debt (excluding mortgage) - £7,020

I take you didn't read the original eversmart thread on here

Yes, I read that, but I do owe them £175 as they set the DD too low originally.
Are you saying that they will not block the switch, despite me owing them money?
I hope not too!0 -

After we were switched to Octopus, I moved to Eversmart with no problems despite the debit balance.
That eventually got paid.Current Debt (excluding mortgage) - £7,020

Just updated the cheap energy club...gonna cost over £300 more with utilita!

Electric
30.217 p/kWh first 2kwh a day, then..
19.063 p/kWh

I logged-in and entered my readings on 6th Sept and have just now managed to log-in and get my final Eversmart invoice safely downloaded and stored.
I would second the recommendation for others to get all their invoices downloaded.
The log-in website that works for me is:
https://www.eversmartenergy.co.uk/index.php/user/login#?
title=fuelType
Also, Eversmart website now saying:
"Utilita Energy will supply energy to Eversmart Energy’s customers as of 11 September 2019."
Perhaps a good idea for everyone to take readings now.0
