It sort of amuses me that you'd be willing to bring in the Tories and their Brexit to try and spite someone like me, whilst I'm sitting pretty confident you'll suffer worse under it than I will.

A unionised public sector 'worker' in a job for life and a gold plated pension...... voting Tory. Never before was the 'turkey voting for christmas' meme more applicable. :)
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

All it's taken for me to vote Tory is the incessant, childish, incoherent attacks from those that oppose them, ones like yours in fact!

Bingo! You're the gift that keeps on giving!

There really is no 'good' party for most people to vote for. I really feel for a lot of you having to figure out which the least bad decision is and hold your nose.

If you're voting for self-destruction because someone was mean to you on the internet, or to watch the world burn, then you are an absolute cretin. Sorry if it's harsh, but it's true.

A cretin’s vote is worth the same as everyone else’s my friend.

It’s a good post though. One that is clearly demonstrated by the state of Scotland and the rise of the SNP. If ever there was a protest vote, driven and supported by imbeciles, purely to spite the neighbours and with no sensible financial logic, then thats it.

Absolutely, it's a valid vote and I encourage everyone to vote. What I find baffling is that people will vote to make themselves worse in the hope it'll upset someone that doesn't care. Voting for Brexit to stick it up the establishment, for instance.

There's no spite in it, we just want to control our own laws and have a say in our future.

Perhaps you are baffled because you believe something to be true that isn’t really true? Something you’ve been told by other baffled people that you like hanging out with? Maybe it’s your own level of knowledge and understanding that needs addressing then? Perhaps hang out with some cretins instead and try comprehend how they view things?

Oops. Sorry I didn’t realise. Still, the irony on this comment is a joy to behold.
When you next get indignant because a cretin tells you they just wanted to take back control from the nasty eu you can have a good old think about what you just typed.

Let me guess though, your ‘taking back control’ is the good type, whereas Mr Cretin’s is because he is a thick racist little ***

Tromking (or Thruglmir) on here has made it clear in the past that he only voted for Brexit to spite the establishment.

Except I can list things that Scotland has no control of or say in (due to not being a devolved power), but no-one can name any EU rules which we don't have a say in, or even that disrupt their lives.

The closest I got was one about firearm deactivations being stricter in the EU than they used to be in the UK, impacting tens of people a year who want to sell a firearm that met the old standard but not the new.

I did use that wording deliberately, because it's great to see those who are pro-brexit but anti Scottish Independence scrabbling to both defend and attack the same stance simultaneously.

yes herz, that’ll be the good taking back control as expected.

You do seem doubly baffled though because personally I’d be happy for the the Scots to choose to have as many referenda as they want.

Here too, though I would insist that the Scots accept a national referendum to see if the rest of the UK wants to keep them.

I think you have the wrong idea here. As I remember that part of the discussion, the issue was the EU wanted (has put in?) regulations for deactivation of firearms that are / would be less stringent than the original UK ones making it easier for them to be reactivated by criminals.
