Must be quite a worry. Corbyn's already 70 and Tories can't hope he'll stay in charge forever or that Dianne Abbott will take over.
It's almost Labour's turn again anyway especially if the Tories have run out of ideas.
Well seeing as it’s not just die-hard tories who are bricking it at the thought of a corbyn govt i’d say it was more an issue that the Labour Party itself should be dealing with. Looks to me like polling numbers show the Lib Dem’s have pulled more ex-labour than ex-Tory.
Unfortunately the corbyn acolytes just seem be in utter confusion that normal* people aren’t jumping for joy about the prospect of labour’s mind-numbingly awful policies.

We shouldn't underestimate however the dullard membership of the Labour Party's happy knack of snatching defeat from the jaws of possible victory.
I'm sure there's another unelectable non-entity ready to be installed off the back of identity obsessed leftists votes when the time comes.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
The core message of Corbyn's campaigning since he first ran for leadership has been fairness, equality, and looking after other people. This is what people attached to.
The right wing sewage machine has put lifetimes worth of effort into attempting to defecate all over that message and ensure it's buried under an avalanche of relentless slander. Baseless antisemitism, racist caricatures of Diane Abbott, quotes taken out of context from 20 years ago, he's a pacifist, he's a terrorist, he's a vegetarian, he rides a bike. Absolutely anything to make sure failing public services or the fact schools are seeing kids coming in malnourished again, is out of the headlines.
It's pathetic. So terrified are they that people will start discussing why we are one of the richest countries on the world run by an elite of people who don't want to spend one single penny on caring for those in need, that they create this river of effluent.
What the Right (and quite a few Labour MPs) don't understand is that this isn't going be put back in it's box. If you expect Corbynism to disappear when Corbyn does I am afraid you are going to be very disappointed.0 -

"Vote Tory because I find the modern World really scary and confusing and the other lot would be even more terrible." Good luck with the canvassing.0 -
The thing about Boris is that he gets what the public want and is a 'populist' for want of a better word.
And all successful politicians have this about them (Wilson, Blair, even Thatcher) and because they understand the public, they win votes and winning votes wins elections. People want clarity, decisiveness, strength and action in a leader. BJ's message is simple, and very very effective 'I am going to do this, no matter what, because you, the people, voted for it, and I am on your side'. It's a compelling message, and it's exactly what enough people need to hear to vote him in. As long as it stays framed in that way he's untouchable electorally.
Corbyn possessed this at the start, with a wave of support, but has been found wanting with a non committal policy on Brexit that lacks the above qualities in every way.
Boris is no Churchill, but is the best by far of a mediocre bunch. He will win.0 -

It's what Brexit supporters need to hear. If he hasn't delivered Brexit by the end of the month (which he won't) that support will be lost.0 -

As long as nothing else changes I'm confident we will leave this month. The surrender act won't work, they would need to do something else to stop Boris0 -
