There's no problem with rough sleepers or homelessness in the UK because of the way VAT is or isn't displayed; or something like that.0

Keep up, it's the government giving misleading numbers that don't follow convention is why I mentioned VAT.
But good job trying to hand waving an analogy away with a logical fallacy. I'll give you a 5/100 -

No I'm with you phil. It's the same old by the usual subjects - they'll try anything to avoid the issue at hand and will be delighted to be talking about VAT rather than rough sleepers.
I need to stop trying to be sarcastic on the internet.0 -

Ask your mate phil what happens if you try dodging the VAT system in any way and also whether or not he has direct experience of Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs for something he says is convention and not law please. .

The main question really should be "For you Corbyn supporters"
Just tell me what you will intend to do when the money dries up from the businesses you intend to suck dry in order to transfer the wealth onto the "needy". Who are the likes of Abbott and Lammy going to blame after their witch hunt has failed and their un inspiring bitter supporters still find they cannot go blaming the world forever for their problems, and Jess Philips fighting the great womens fight that has already been bravely fought and doing so from her comfy MP's office with a mug a tea and box of cream cakes.0 -
If people think that the country is going to lose business after Brexit they should have a good think about how much business the country will lose with Momentum in control and their puppet Labour leaders.0

You are making the mistake of assuming that this isn't something that has already been considered. Brexit is way worse than the prospect of a labour government.Ask your mate phil what happens if you try dodging the VAT system in any way and also whether or not he has direct experience of Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs for something he says is convention and not law please. .

I never said anything about vat fraud. It's rude to criticize someone for saying things when they didn't.
I was talking about advertising VAT exclusive prices, nothing about not paying VAT. You need to rethink your entire argument.0 -

What makes you think businesses are going to be sucked try by Labour? The policies have all been about making everyone pay their fair share and investing in stuff that desperately needs it.
If there is more money going to the needy, then there will be more money going around the system and back into businesses anyway.
I'm not a fan of Corbyn, but I cannot fathom how anything his government can do (especially since he'll likely be a minority government and need the Yellow Tories on board) that can be worse than a bad Brexit deal.0 -
For the general population Corbyn won't be worse than a no deal Brexit.
But for big business who aren't paying tax, then yeah he probably should be feared. Landlords are terrified but I doubt they need to be, scare stories in the Express and Mail about his policies are causing such unnecessary panic.0 -

With his more general views going to be an embarrassment on the world stage. Will make even Trump appear sane.0
