Only the lying fascist xenophobic ones that we have now. They expelled the wrong ones.

You were told what fascism was only a few weeks ago. Have you forgotten already?
The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists.

Maybe. Rough sleepers are hard to calculate for obvious reasons. Considering the number of spikes that posh tax dodging companies in London like to install to deter them I presume it's not a negligible problem.

There is something wrong with a society that tries to solve homelessness with spikes.

I didn’t know that tax dodging companies had offices under railway bridges. I thought they were mostly in Luxembourg nowadays.

Nope, you just support the dictator.

Fascism puts nation and often race above the individual. It stands for a centralized government headed by a dictator

Our dictator has closed down parliament & says he will use every technique to bypass judiciary.

    There were warning signs.

You quote from the unashamedly left wing vox political as evidence to support your case? Just where do you suppose that the political sympathies lie of those who responded? You really have lost it.

No doubt why their PM was so keen to maintain the status quo at the press conference yesterday. Why change what's beneficial to onesself.

You were told you don't go from middle of the road government to fascist state overnight.

If you need to see people goosestepping down the high street before you'll concede there are some worrying signs of a swing to the right then your state of bliss will continue.

...and yes we know the UK isn't heading down this road in isolation.

You have really lost it if you think criticism from your opposition is automatically null and void.
When do you think there is ever going to be criticism from the unashamedly right wing? They'll be keeping quiet because everything seems to be going well with blaming foreigners.

Grand Moff Johnson holds a cabinet meeting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3OiIjIvN0A

and yes, I'm exaggerating a little. Boris is incapable of building something like the death star. But he probably won't last and the environment he's created by appealing to the fascist tendencies in the party aren't going to go away.

The former Labour minister Margaret Hodge, whose review of the Garden Bridge project led to its abandonment, said she was shocked at how “irresponsible” Johnson was with public money. But during her review she was also struck by the lack of scrutiny of his profligate spending decisions when mayor.

It seems Corbyn might be tighter on spending than Johnson.

    Costco do that!

Costco sell primarily into the trade, so show prices without VAT in the headline, with the VAT included underneath. There's nothing misleading about it unless you're not paying attention.

Nicely dodging the fact that phillw was wrong in saying:

We only have VAT inclusive prices as a convention.
    No, it's law.
See the HMRC section "tax on shopping" and also look for the CAP code.

    this one?

    https://www.gov.uk/tax-on-shopping/where-you-see-vat

In adverts, catalogues and price lists
This depends on who they’re aimed at. If they’re for:

the general public only, they’ll show you a price including VAT
businesses as well as consumers, they might show the price with VAT and without
businesses only they do not usually include VAT, which is charged on top of the price shown

    Seems like convention to me.

    https://www.asa.org.uk/codes-and-rulings/sanctions.html

The vast majority of advertisers and broadcasters agree to follow ASA rulings and for those that are having difficulty doing so, rather than punish them, our aim is to work with them to help them stick to the Advertising Codes. However, for the small minority of advertisers who are either unable or unwilling to work with us, some of the sanctions at our disposal can have negative consequences.

One of our most persuasive sanctions is bad publicity – an advertiser’s reputation can be badly damaged if it is seen to be ignoring the rules designed to protect consumers.
