Yes it is, so why are you not insisting the same and agreeing that Brexit should be implemented?
People are allowed to change their minds and/or demographics change such that decisions of yesteryear become redundant. Lots of things that seemed like good ideas at the time look different in the cold light of day.
The referendum was a stupid idea because it gave people the idea that a referendum result trumps everything else. It's up to parliament (and always was) as to whether we stay in or leave the UK.0 -

If that is the case why I wonder is it still law that the UK leaves the EU?“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

I know we don’t like fake news so let’s just add Some context to this from the very same source.Below are the 15 countries that imported the highest dollar value worth of bananas during 2018.
United States: US$2.8 billion (18.1% of total bananas imports)
Belgium: $1.3 billion (8.6%)
Russia: $1.2 billion (7.4%)
Netherlands: $968.8 million (6.2%)
Germany: $944.8 million (6.1%)
Japan: $913.4 million (5.9%)
China: $896.8 million (5.7%)
United Kingdom: $769.5 million (4.9%)
France: $622.9 million (4%)
Italy: $564.9 million (3.6%)
Canada: $423.5 million (2.7%)
South Korea: $360.2 million (2.3%)
Poland: $319.6 million (2%)
Spain: $246.6 million (1.6%)
Argentina: $217.5 million (1.4%)
Among the above countries, the fastest-growing markets for bananas since 2014 were: Netherlands (up 181.5%), France (up 22%), Russia (up 20.6%) and Japan (up 12.6%).
Four countries posted declines in their imported bananas purchases namely: Germany (down -16.2%), Belgium (down -11.3%), United Kingdom (down -7.3%) and Canada (down -0.8%).
The listed 15 countries purchased 80.6% of all bananas imports in 2018.
Equally interesting is the bit you accidentally missed off your original quote -Among the above countries, the fastest-growing banana exporters since 2014 were: Panama (up 220.5%), Cameroon (up 216.7%), Netherlands (up 124.7%) and Guatemala (up 103.8%).
Three countries posted declines in their exported banana sales: Germany (down -39.8%), Belgium (down -27.5%) and United States (down -5.5%).
Which bodes well for the UK in its future banana sourcing negotiations.
Give me a shout If you need any more help. If i’m not around I can get my six year old on the case instead.0 -

Oh sorry, I forgot that a GE is the wrong kind of democracy.
Corbyn has agreed to a GE once no deal has been taken off the table. He's also proposing putting Brexit back to the people, now we have a better idea of what's involved. That almost sounds democratic to me.0
