Sorry to hear so many of you are having problems.

I saw this thread on Monday and mentioned it to a mate of mine who was thinking of getting an iPod.

He called the number on the website and ordered it over the phone there and then with no problems.

They told him that the £2.95 delivery charge went on a traceable courier and that he would receive it on Thursday...and yes, shock-horror, it arrived first thing this morning (he brought it into work to show off).

It is not an iPod photo but it does have a colour screen (as opposed to monochrome) and he's really chuffed 'cos on Tuesday his boss spent £240 (+£6.95 delivery) on the 30GB version!

We'll keep our fingers crossed for you guys.

Do you mean its got a vaguely bluish tinge to it? It def wont have a multicolour screen.

The Bosses on the other hand will have a full colour screen

why is this thread 'closed'? The offer may be over, but I think there's still outstanding issues. Like others, I don't know if I'm going to get this item, just emailed (as customer service don't seem to know anything from the separate internet team) and it's good to get feedback from the successful people to see how they got the deal.
Upshot is - I, like others, will never deal with this lot again. They have not honoured orders in the date they received them, they are disorganised, have an inaccurate and non-realtime website and provide appallingly bad customer service.

I agree with jeglet this thread has been closed a little prematurely. I too ordered one first thing on Saturday and have still heard nothing despite numerous calls to "customer services". Despite my anger and dismay with this company I would still like to know how many people get what they ordered and after how long.

I was out tonight and only got back just after midnight.

Wating for me at my front door was a parcel from "The Store" containing my my 40gb ipod!! i can't believe they actually sent me one - I thought sure this was going to be the same old story.

That said, I did also order one from the Apple refurb store!!

I made my order on Saturday morning too and I was told I was defiantly not getting mine by both the email team and the phone team so I can only assume that I'm really not getting one. I did order a refurbished one from the apple store and surprise surprise it is already here. I may end up saying this a touch prematurely but right not I couldn't love the apple company more. delivered in 2 days, 5 emails to tell me what is happening with the order and even a phone call to make sure someone was available to take the delivery. BEAUTIFUL service from apple.

If anyone ordered one from elsewhere and it happens to be going spare....
