    Hi everyone
Cooked my veggies dinner in mine adding gravy granules at the end, then cooked veggie sausage and green separately. The other day I tried a rice pudding in it and that turned out well.
Also interested in jacket pots, how long do you have to cook them for? and do you have to put tin foil on them?

  • My lamb shanks from yesterday cooked very well and I have some of the stock left, which I'll freeze for another time.

    Nannyg - Good Housekeeping says:-
Slow cooker jacket potatoes. Wash and thoroughly dry each potato. Wrap each potato tightly in foil and put in the pan of a slow cooker, in one even layer if possible. Cover with a lid and cook on high for 4hr for medium potatoes or 5hr for large potatoes, turning the over halfway through the cooking time.

This blog shows some pics and gives instructions too. HTH Edit - she does not use foil, just some parchment in the base.

Mines on at the moment. Chicken thighs with a honey, mustard and garlic sauce; it’s rather yummy.

My 3.5 litre one has just been used for cooking the last batch of the 10 individual Christmas puds, now just need to make room to store them, some in cupboard, some in freezer I think.

Just turned off savoury mince. I'll make a cottage pie for one night this week and portion up the rest for the freezer. It was so easy today as I had carrots, leeks and mushrooms frozen so put it together in minutes. Who says cooking from scratch is hard work?;)
  • Done my first rice pudding today :D
