Is there a reason why you did not go for a wall hung toilet ?Thank you. We've wall mounted toilets before. It's something like £250 more for the wall
mounted frame and I don't value that as a good spend.
They don't look much different and they're harder to clean than a streamlined back to wall, in my opinion, because you can't get the mop under it and you have to get on the floor to wipe the underside of it.
Another question - is the wall behind toilet just paint and the wallpaper regular paper ? Aren't you worried about urine spray from men? This is our ensuite and my husband has never been a problem in that department!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Looks lovely. The sofa is a brilliant touch, I've only managed a chaise.
Don't google it, but make sure you tell your loo users to put the lid down BEFORE they flush. It has a huge effect on soft fabrics in the room. I only know (first hand) because we had a university study look at certain things (I won't go into finer details) for a study on 'droplet intrusion' in our holiday cottages......I shall park that right there!
I'm a fan of a wall hung toilet, even with tidy men (yes I say plural!).
Dare I say Doozer, I'm definitely not a fan of a loo brush either! But that was a side aspect of the uni study.
The moral - don't let uni students experiment on anything you own!
Seriously, looks fab though. Well done.

Now I've recovered my powers of speech, can I ask, Doozer - who designed all this? Where did you start? How did you know it would turn out looking so amazing?I mean, the framed chevroned wall tile panel, the choice of style and colour of basin unit, the lit ornament recess above the loo, the shade of flooring - how did you know this would all work?1

If ever you're up this way I'd love your input and crew to do my home.
As always what you're doing is what I'm after!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -

all of it.The bathroom evolved over a long time. The bath was in my in laws' garage for three years and I knew exactly what brassware I wanted. The floor goes through most of the house. With those few things, the pallet is only wood, marble, matt white stone and pale gold which is pretty neutral. The wallpaper came next, the sink unit was painted to match the black and then I spotted the chaise and matching chair on facebook and that featured the teal in the wallpaper. It's just evolution - adding items and layers. Practicing helps - It's fair to say that my first bathroom looked nothing like this!My husband likes to recall the tantrum I had when I was crying that nothing would fit after the room was forced to become 20cm smaller by the heat recovery unit in the 'loft' behind. 🤦🏼♀️The lighting - I watched the entire John Cullen webinar series during lockdown on lighting design. It's my very favourite room at night.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

We're coming away from "building building"
We're setting up a company specialising in extension-quality garden rooms made from SIPs, like our house. I've got a lot to do to get it streamlined, but my plan is eventually to offer some pre-packaged interior design options for a few different uses, which could be used in the house as well.I need to learn how to present that in a visually attractive way on the computer. I'm still old school using physical samples. If anyone can recommend programmes etc, I'd love that.
