It was great yesterday. Windows open all day, no bugs, and a happy relaxed teenage son. The DH came home and forgot to close back door, so a gret big noisy blue bottle came in sending house into frenzy!!!:rotfl:

Hi everyone. Havent been here for a while have had loads of stuff going on here. Just to update George is still in the part time placement with the LEA and although the provisional statement is thru the final statement hasnt yet been agreed and has not been given a place in a proper school yet Im at my whits end really he is getting worse, i cant go up town with him anymore he cant cope runs off and his agression is getting worse too, he is beating up his sister regularly now and has destroyed an expensive gold bracelet of mine and 2 gold neaclaces in temper. I had a phone call from his temporary placement yesturday saying george was really out of control and if hes like it again she will send him home in a taxi, hence my phone call to her after receiving the text wasnt too calm. Really hate my family life at the moment it feels like im constantly wound up and shouting and feel i have no life at all anymore. Social services are a complete waste of time offered help not given it then find out the social worker i had was infact a trainee and he left the placement to move on with his training and not heard from social services since. Really feel !!!!ed off and dont know what to do now. I really feel residential school is the way forward now as it is not only affecting george getting worse but my other 2 kids too, just feel they are so unhappy and frightened of him especially Rebekah and shes his twin. Feel i have a massive up hill battle regarding residential school and dont know what to do for the best! I feel so sad guilty angry and !!!!ed off.!!!

I am soooo sorry to hear that your situation is so bad. Have you got any friend who can 'shout' at social care' for you? they need to pull their finger out....i agree with you from the posts on here...residential school seems the best...dont blame yourself...easyly said...sorry i dont mean it in a patronising way...not at all..have worked for ages in residential school..they do do wonders..some children need it...lots of hugs....:o

These helped me with a lot of info and counselling for myself.
social services only hepled when i said i thought ii would lose the plot and harm DS and prob myself too 9really carp - it should not have to come to that)
BUT NHS direct DID help they talked to me for ages, referred me to Social services, and also got me lots of useful info that SS had not provided me with.
The Family welfare association may help with the siblings, mentoring groups, trips out and so on. PLEASE tell the school that the opther kids are suffering as they are entitled to a pastoral support programme to help them fulfil their potential.

No exactly how u feel ive had to tell that dd is at risk so many times, ive insisted they do another assesment you are entitled to one for your other kids under the childrens act if family life is effecting them we had one at xmas and again three week ago now awaiting a proffesionals meeting my dd is three wks of 16 so will come under vunerable adults but if yours are younger push for a social worker for them in their own right do it in writing they have to respond in 7 days.

Hi Everyone,

Not been here for an absolute age because we have to be out of the house by 23rd (bailiffs coming!! :eek:) and I am either packing or getting stuff listed on eBay or ready for eBay to go in a box and listed on Auctiva so I can do it when we are settled in somewhere. Still nowhere definate to live yet.

I wanted to let you know that Ryan got awarded Middle rate DLA and they will contact me when he reaches the age of 5 to see about Mobility. I got a lump sum so when we finally get housed we are getting a new big play centre for the back garden, plus I have found a cracking indoor climbing frame that will be perfect for the masses of energy he has and I will probably get that for him too. http://www.housemonkeys.co.uk/climbingframes/CFT-1000.html

Today I had to do something at school with him and all the other kids sat there lovely, it is only in a group of people like that I notice how different he is and how is not like other children of the same age.

Hello guys. Not posted on here for a while, but Ihad to share this gem with you people who willmost probably understand.
My DD's "lady" came round today to see her for the first time - I've had lot of sessions with her on my own but it's the first time she's met DD. DD was showing her a load of stuff in a carrier bag she has, and something was not there that she wanted to show her. Immediately the tears came, and after she'd calmed down, she asked DD if she gets upset like that often when something doesn't quite go right. DD said yas, she does.

"Ok" lady said" "next time you feel yourself getting upset, can you practice counting to 10?"
DD: "I already know how to count to 10"
