 why does my Oh make my job 10 times more difficult.
The lady i see has given me some ABC charts to assess DD'a behaviour. I filled one i last night and put it on the fridge so I would remember for he next time I needed\ it.
OH came home in a foul mood and read the form. Blew up at DD AFTER it had\all been finished withband upset her alll over again. He knows that I'm trying to get help for her, but just charges in like a bull in a china shop and rages at both my girls for no reason0 -
Thanks sue 1 and sue 2!
I spoke to my son's teacher again this morning and she said that it might take as long as 4 weeks. I also asked her if I should be doing anything else (eg go to the GP) in the meantime and she said that what normally happens is the EP comes in first and then if she thinks there is a problem, they will refer my son on. Is this right?:smileyheaRachel xx0 -

Ohh Sarah, I'm really sorry hun.
I don't know much about this sort of thing, but could this turn out to be a good thing if he isn't coping at the school he goes to now?
I know you're going through hell at the moment, and I don't really know what to say, but just wanted you to know I'm thinking about you. Will be on MSN later if you need someone to talk to."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
DS had a good week last week (first week back after his 5 day fixed exclusion). They have created an inclusion room and he spends most of the day in there now which seems (fingers crossed) to be helping him.
We have the ADOS feedback on Friday. I’m looking forward to it but also dreading it at the same time. I half hope they diagnose him but then half hope they say it’s just behavioural and something we can fix. Roll on Friday!

You poor soul.
Surely that should have been a face to face meeting. How cruel.
Really feel for you.0 -
Just got a call from my new employer saying they want to see me at 2pm but did ask me to take my bank details in so fingers crossed the meeting will go well to accomodate flexible hours around george. Even said i can take him with me to the meeting. WOW eh! Glad i told them but was so scared and ashamed
Ed Psych just called and said formal diagnosis is autism that is going on paper imminently and is comming to do some work with george tomorrow morning for me. She said the LEA provision isnt the right place for him and now is kicking in help from autism team to advise any provision he is placed into. Omg could this be silver lining in a very grey cloud. Its my 33rd birthday today and omg what a day wont forget this birthday thats for sure.:T This site is great! Thanks to Martin Lewis & everyone who participates and helps so many people! Happy birthday
I really hope this does turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Is this the first time you have had a formal diagnosis?
Good luck with your new employer. I think if they can see you have handled an incredibly difficult situation well, that will show them that you will be a great employee. You have been honest with them, and that should also go in your favour."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
