I for one won't be singing their praises, ordered March 25 and after 2 weeks of waiting, didn't get a go live date, called them to find our my first order was rejected by their system and they had to place it again. Rejected through no fault of my own I might add!
Eventually I had a go live date set of 28th April, more than a month after the original order...unfortunately for them TalkTalk, who were my previous provider, hassled me to get me to stay, managed to negotiate a 12 month contract for £22 a month plus £80 bill credit! Thus I ended up cancelling my move to Shell and in my view that's what they deserve for messing me around!0 -
Shell Broadband. Yes I have seen that when I come up for renewal I will be charged a disconnection fee of £12. Haven’t see the £35 for not returning the router. The service is only ok the customer service is very poor. I had difficulty when I first connected. Had to resolve the problem myself.0

Thank God I'm finally leaving for another provider.
I'm appalled by their mid-contract price hikes, their £15 cease fee that you have to chase to claim back. Their router is awful, numerous dropouts, feels cheap, flimsy and as light as an empty cereal box. They didn't even entertainment giving me a retention deal. Customer service is dreadful.
My new provider will cost me £6 less per month with twice the download speed (65mb) - factoring in cashback.0 -
The modem-router that I had from S-hell was really old, single band, and even had a handle on the side that had to we turned 20 times at the start of every day. Single band modem-routers might be great for haveing a long range, but aren't so good in crowded areas. Dual band modem-routers can give you a faster connection to the laptop/ device

Lokolo_2 Well done to you, £80 bill credit covers about 4 months at £22 pcm. As I understand it S-hell use T-T infrastructure so there should be little difference
