A bit concerning that the court case is tomorrow and the OP hasn't been back to the forum for 6 months. So much happens in that space of time.Hopefully it's a great outcome. Please let us know how it goes - best of luck. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I haven't updated anything on here as my documents where submitted a very long time back. My case has been moved 2 times. I attended the hearing in person today. I WON!5

The judge was not happy with VCS.
Before the session started he addressed the 60 pound charge saying we have spoken about this before to the VCS rep. He was not happy that it is still being asked for and removed that straight away. The representative was unprepared and missing files. Her main argument was that I entered a contract. That was her whole angle. I won off the basis that i did not enter the contract willingly. He then went on to break down the signage and the so called contract. The VCS representative actually said to the judge that I should have argued with the police and refused to park on private land. The judge said so you are asking the defendant to not only put himself at risk but others as well? She kept calling the police a third party. It wasn't going down well. I was awarded costs.3 -
Well done - a good win and costs as well.3

I was complimented for how professional my documents where set out. He noted the statement of truth saying even some lawyers are still not using this. So thank you to everyone on this page for the huge support.2

Special mention to yourself @Coupon-mad, this was my first time doing this. At times I felt completely lost and out of my depth. I know you have had to be patient. But genuinely thank you. I didn't get awarded my full costs but he gave me the most the courts would allow based on my information. Its been 2 years since the incident. So I am glad its finally over.1
