As well as the topic I highlighted , as coupon mad says you need the newer longer April 2020 statement of truth , not that old short version previously used. It's important to be up to date with wording and terminology

I have searched the forum. Can someone please confirm that this is the correct wording for the statement of truth.
For witness statements, the statement of truth’s wording will be as follows:
I believe that the facts stated in this witness statement are true.  I understand that proceedings for contempt of court may be brought against anyone who makes, or causes to be made, a false statement in a document verified by a statement of truth without an honest belief in its truth.

So i received my letter today. I was going to post my WS bundle which included the letter that covers this tomorrow. I just have one question. Does my Witness Statement date stay the same? I only ask as i am about to send my bundle to the court and to VCS. I haven't received anything from VCS. My hand in date is the 22nd May. My concern is if the WS date changes then VCS have longer to counter my WS.

If your evidence hasn't changed, there's no need to redate the statement you've prepared. The declaration is the date you sign it, not the date you file it at court.

In bigger claims it is quite normal that statements are prepared a year or more before trial.

Further update: I spoke to the courts today and was allowed to hand deliver my bundle. Which I have. Now just to wait till October!
