My sister has no internet access. Is there any telephone comparison sites or brokers she could contact as she always renews her car insurance with the same company every year when the renewal letter comes in.

can you not help her? and use Quidco at same time? if not can she not use the net at the local library?

Pink Princess. You just click on "post reply" at the bottom and that should be it.

i am totally stumped on how to post a new thread

For a NEW thread (as opposed to a reply) then click the "New Thread" button which is halfway down the laft hand side underneath the red "Start here" button when you are scrolled up and clicked on the insurance board (the board and not a particular thread).
    Hop that helps.

My partner has been driving for 2 years, owns her own car and has had her own insurance for 1 year.

I also have my own insurance with over 14+ years NCB, I own 2 cars.

Can we get a policy to cover 2 drivers with 3 cars ? If so who ?

    Thanks.

this is ageist and backward looking and plainly unfair
  • Hi,

My other half has had her car hit from the rear, Norwich Union (both drivers were with them what luck A?) had the car taken to one of there 'approved repairers' who promptly wrote it off as a cat 'c'. We asked for it back and took it to where we have our body works jobs done (a coachworks) who's quote was well under the 'write off' value (and quote to repair) Norwich union gave us. Sop we asked if we could get it repaired by our repairers and they said 'NO' the only option is take the money (something about there liablity on the repair that they cannot be sure would be repaired to a acceptable standard  bull***t  ).
Well on this site 'Tesco value' is suppose to be cheaper because quote 'Tesco insurance offers a comprehensive policy but limits the repairs to garages it has relationships with, which lowers the cost.'

Do all insurance companies behave this way now? I.E. approved repairers only and write off cars that are not really write offs?

    Cheers

I was watching Premier Radio channel on T.V a while ago, it is a christian channel and in the commercials it was advertising car insurance specially designed for christians.
  • I have just received a quote from moneysupermarket.com for a Citroen Picasso. I am 61 have held a clean licence for 39 years for cars, motorcycles, LG V's. I have transferred my NCD to a new purchase I have just made, which means I have no NCD for this quote. My old insurance quoted me £169.27 for Third party only. This quote from MS.Com started at £294.27 by 'Quick fit'. Finished at £5000.00 by 'Insure your motor'.
I think someone is taking the proverbial here!
