    Good Morning ALL

Woke up with a thick headache, hope it clears before work.
Was going to have spag bol for dinner, but I mis-counted the mince in the freezer, so we're going to have bacon & mushroom omlette.

Im glad the council are coming out tomorrow to replace tiles in bathroom. As some fell off last night.

Im shocked Mark was voted out of the jungle! He's got some explaining to do!

    Welcome Astonsmum
    Happy Birthday Kiwichick

    Morning all:wave:

Well, no mouse in any of the traps this morning  so I don't have the task of getting rid, some poison has gone though so that's a good thing.:T

Have just had a run in with DD2. Whilst I was making their lunches she decided to play her ds rather than get ready, so when I tell her to turn off, it was strop city:mad: . Apparently her life is over because I made her turn off at an important part of the game.

Happy Birthday to Kiwichick, hope you had a good day yesterday Hester.

    Welcom to Astonmummy

Hope everybody is ok, life seems alittle hectic at the moment I'm not getting a minute to myself. I'm hoping to get the paint work in dd room rubbed down today and put my fruit into soak for the xmas cake and pudding. I also need to do a meal plan and shopping list as its going to be very tight leading up to xmas.

    have a good day everyone

    Morning all.

Well done, congratulations ect to everyone whos having b/days,good luck ect.
Not got to much planned for today, FIL coming again (twice in a week i am honoured!) this time to drop mine and dh xmas present off that we asked them not to get, their hearts in right place but spoil xmas for me as they give me the kids and our presents not wrapped as they say there is no point!! So that means i have to wrap them up as of cause kids see the point of wrapping up presents, hes done the same with ds3 birthday present not wraped and left the price tags on so they think they have spent loads!!! Makes me so mad!!!

Managed to get loads of items listed on ebay yesterday, my Brother in law is a manager of a nightclub and any lost property not claimed within 3 months gets binned!! Not no more he now gives it me to list on ebay, yesterday he brought me 7 coats and a few lovely designer lable handbags plus 2 pairs of jeans.....i dont even want to know how you miss place your jeans whilst on a night out!!!

Tea tonight is pasta bake and cheesy omelete followed by toffee cheesecake.
    Have a good day everyone

Have an impromptu day off today

ooh ooh me too :) I had my bubble bath last night - an hour and a half of bubbly bliss with rebecca - the novel so no gossiping please

Call from exbil last night - he and dsis are reting a house for the trip to holland in january and there is space for me and mine about a mile from ddad's and they are subsidising us 100% so that's a result. phoned ddad to give him the dates and he was pretty disapointed that we wouldn't be staying at his until I pointed out that it would be his poor dwife who would be struggling to house 30 of us all at the same time - it's only a mile from his house anyway so we wil be there most of the time anyway. Long chat about my eldest little sis - she is 15, pretty much dropped out of school, smoking and on the pill. She has a 19yo boyf but he doesn't think she 's having s*x
Had pretty much the same problems with middle dd at the same age - except for the pill-taking and she ended up pregnant so I really felt for him. It's not easy dealing with rebel teens at any age but ddad is in his late 60's. He wasn't around when his first family hit their teens so it's a steep learning curve. He asked if my dd could have a chat with her but she says it might be better for her to have a chat with him to help him realise that it's not all his fault just like her behaviour wasn't all mine.

Pipkin - in some ways the poison might be better in that they go somewhere else to die and it sort of dessicates them as well. I have used those sonic things for about 2 years now and haven't seen any since then. You need one for each room really - there's no way I could deal with bodies - eeeeeew.
Happy birthday Kiwichick and hugs to anyone that needs them :)
Plans today are the inevitable sockknitting and some flying followed by a freezer raid for one as I'm Home Alone till Sunday - yay. I have the ingredeints ofr a Lumberjack cake - will it keep till dgs's bday on saturday?
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
  • Oh dear Pipkin - you clearly have a supermouse. ;) Looks like the big guns are needed to deal with this one.

Twit - that was horrible for you dealing with that poor cat but rubyred is right, your kindness helped some poor owner end their fretting. Better to know. Others might have turned away and have not wanted to deal with it.

Well doing nothing OS yet other than loaded WM. Just enjoying feeling the sun on me from the window. It's been so dark here the past few days.

On a muffin making exercise today after having a great success with the kids eating them yesterday. Got some apples that need using up so will get stuck in in a mo. Not sure what I'm making for tea as grocery levels are reaching critical just now. :o Have some bacon pieces so may make either macaroni cheese with bacon or bacon, cheese and potato hotpot. :D

Have a great day and wishing the poorlies better.
