    En suite cleaned.
5 ink cartridges bagged up for charity.
Updated bus timetable printed and highlighted for mum's buses.
    Greenhouse, pots and baskets watered.
Meal plan done vaguely dependent on weather and what I find in Ald!.
Re-checking list of MIL's things while on phone to BIL to confirm what he wants so we know what ECCO can collect.
Replied to 1st enquiry about TV I put on G&mtree last night.
Study tidied and vacuumed ready for my brother.

Off to supermarket next; flower arrangements to do for lounge and spare rooms hoping there is enough left in garden that isn't dried up.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Hedge (which is actually neighbour's at the back but hangs over my fence) trimmed back to boundary by DS who borrowed his friend's petrol trimmer. This wasn't in the plan for today but since he offered and wetter weather is forecast I was more than happy to adapt.
Plus it is another tick of the grand summer list.
I've also made a veggie chilli which has used up some more courgettes and french beans.
The afternoon will be mostly spent picking up clippings and binning them.

Been out on my deck chair in the sun, but it has clouded over, so taken washing off line, folded and upstairs.

    I bet 1659 JoJo.

Grass cut and I've been into York for lunch and retail therapy with DH. Washing is in from the line. I need to prep tonight's tea. If I stay sitting here I'll fall asleep.

    Hello :hello:

I've been doing a bit and sitting a lot :D Two lots of washing on the line. One bowl of pots WUDUPA. Several cans and plastic bottles rinsed and recycled. Birds fed. Birdbath filled. Pile of DS's clothes brought down to be folded and put in bag for cs. Finished reading book and added to cs pile.

On Tuesday GP said that work is a 'poison chalice' that I will eventually have to drink from and the longer I leave it the more I will affect my employability. Work have said they have no solution, but the boss has told MM to drop the negativity, so she will be ok now. I just laughed. I'm going back to work on Monday and I've told my supervisor that there will no doubt be complaints made about me. And breathe …

  • 50% of the plumbing completed from 16:10 to 16:24. It involved a spanner and ptfe tape.

The dangerous scalding water issue upstairs is a separate job, apparently. Oh well, Himself's going to have to have showers downstairs [strike] or smell[/strike] in the meantime.

Bunch of things in the WM, need to vacuum upstairs as I think the dust/pollen is irritating Himself's eyes and, other than that, it's that pile of clothes to sort/avoid.

  • How about getting some ear filters to block out as much of Moaning Myrtle as possible?

Or whistle blowing her anonymously for bullying other staff? I'm pretty sure that somebody that bad must trip over the line for victimising somebody with a Protected Characteristic at some point (which includes reporting people for 'being negative' when they're diagnosed with depression, by the way....).

In any case, if I were working with you [strike] not only would I be lovely[/strike], I'd be telling you to join a union pretty sharpish, probably GMB as UNISON have been pretty rubbish in my experience, and making sure that you don't suffer financially as a result of the lack of adjustments/needing time off.
